But is that scummy thoughBonatogether wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:33 amthe post in question has a model of a town player who plays to survive by refusing to claim in order to avoid flak, and a model of a scum player who seeks towncredit by claiming it. how does that make sense? would not a scum player seek to mimic the town play, and could not a town player seek to be honest about mistakes?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:16 amWell, I wanted to organize my thoughts around how the bee sting affair could happen. So I found I could not come up with a reason as to why Town would claim the kill. However, I found that Mafia may decide to claim it. Combined with the fact that it was so conveniently awful, it made me think damo was Mafia.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 1:20 am
no, i don't care why you're not using it now. explain your thought process when you made it
it just seems to me a pre-fitted conclusion with warped logic

Damo, you have to get off of me. I mean, really, pull back the hounds. Unless you’re scum.
Clearly I haven’t spent enough time reading.
Letting all things be equal, Bunny appears most town.
Enough analysis makes me think we solve this by Day 3 or 4.
Reflect on what Will published; the answers have to be there.
Keep on truckin’, y’all.
Sweet, if I met you walking down through our town, I’d high five you and say, “Got past D1, man!”
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Potentially. That was fine.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:57 amYou said you were just causing ties, though, did you think your votes might end of DKing Bonatogether or damo?ghug wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 11:45 pmI said I don't like killing new players.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:53 pm
Where in this does he say he does like voting for new players exclusively "during D1"?
I didn't say I won't vote for new players.
Those are two key differences. Other factors gain more weight as the game progresses.

Tunneling is more likely to come from town.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:58 amghug has accused me of doing what I would consider the opposite of tunneling.
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
This is quite a bit of nice work put in to that piece of data. What does it tell you about the space where the 2nd mafia generally joins?
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
I think you're biased by the read you had before. I thought foodcoats was town af, which makes me especially upset by the kill, but the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. I don't get the sense that food was an especially likely kill.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:04 amHow about the thing about Damo actually looking fairly townish for targeting Foodcoats, given there is little sign in Foodcoats’ ISO that he is beekeeper and foodcoats was a fairly likely daykill target at that point?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 4:44 amI agree with you about Vecna. Otherwise, not sure what you are expecting a response for.

Bonatogether already used that town slip. Why did you think there were only 3?

Not seeing enough from Vecna today. And Town!Vecna just doesn’t care about being my friend like this Vecna does.
Also, expecting me to be posting when its 5am in my timezone is a bit yuk.

I am not swayed, however. And I am disturbed that you seriously included two dead people in them.

OooofffLord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:42 amThat's probably because I forgot to take them off the list when I typing up my read list on mobile, though I also have docx. with them off it, so I maybe I posted the wrong copy.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:33 amThe one thing that stands out to me from your post is that you said you "reread this thread three times", but were apparently not aware that DrFidelis subbed out after posting only 3 times, or that foodcoats was the victim of a vig shot. Can you explain this?Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:18 am
I would expect nothing less from someone I am accusing, but reads were asked for.

I'm willing to switch to my other three reads, name Jamie, Bunny, or Food.
Though I humbly request you switch to your top scumrrad, Food.

Could you tell me more about your opinion on Food and damo's connection?
Do you really think that was faked?
Because that is generally what you actually call a real townslip.
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Even the consecutive post exchange with bunny just oozes townyness. By definition, there are going to a lot more town reads than scum reads.
For clarity, my scum reads are Jamie, Food, and Bunny, such as they are.![]()

Wow, thanks for making it easy for me. I always struggle to read you, but if you are always correct about my alignment then the only possible reason you could be incorrect is because you are Mafia.
##VOTE Vecna
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
This game just got made a lot easier by the newer players putting in a few killer posts that pretty much absolves them.
The irritation with certain players is palpable.
Balki Bartokomous
kingofthepirates
Rdrivera2005
Bonatogether
Bozotheclown
Spartaculous
BunnyGo
Jamiet99uk
damo666
Lord of Words
ghug
Vecna
The above group is probably all town, in no particular order
Leaving a very easy poe:
Hamilton Brian
Sweetandcool
worcej
Maybe im wrong about 1, which is likely either Rdrivera, Kotp or Bona if some weird bussing occured.
But for now, fuck whether any of these slots bussed or not, thats a crapshoot anyway. Reads reign supreme.

LoW
I suspect the "reread 3 times" is out of date and explains the scumread of deadtown. Continuing to do so indicates being a long way behind.
This is giving him the benefit of the doubt.
When he next posts I want him to declare whether he was has caught up. Ofc if he hasn't he may not have read this so if there is no such declaration please badger him to say how far he has read to.
Once caught up I'd like to see a revised readlist.
Sparta - townpoints for that analysis.
