I’m confused by this, @BunnyGo. Are you claiming to be the Miller here?

Forgive me, ahem:
Please provide a detailed explanation as to how you have concluded that Sweetandcool is not a member of the Mafia. In particular, persuade me, if you can, that Bonatogether's quite detailed case (which you have thus far not discussed at all) is poorly founded, or manifestly incorrect.
Saying this here, I actually find it quite odd that Damo immediately batted back a one-line "sweet aint scum", during a phase in which Damo has posted 42 times yet not discussed Sweetandcool at all, not even a little bit, despite Bona making a big push on Sweet, and despite at least some others also appearing to scumread Sweet. Distancing, perhaps?

Checking in from work so sparse and driveby.
Is there a particular poster who has contributed a strong case on Spart having lead votes so far?

You'll have to await me rereading (on p16).Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 2:45 pmForgive me, ahem:

Fair enough. Thanks to you two for confirmation. I'm still not a huge fan of the joke, but it's enough to make me switch back.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 1:31 pmI am an experienced player so I will respond to this.
This is exactly the kind of thing Bunny would joke about.
Bunny is wise enough to know that Millers get a VT PM (Miller wouldn't have the same effect in the game if it was self-aware; a self-aware Miller would have a very different dynamic in terms of gameplay). He "claimed" Miller in the same post as acknowledging the existence of the Miller changes the effectiveness of the Cop, and it was very clearly a joke, to me.
##VOTE damo666
I've previously laid out my reasoning. (A tiny amount of apologies to damo for the vote after you were just helpful to me.)

Brainbomb is my friend. The bad guys killed him. But his words will never die. Today, I honor him.brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:32 pmId like a conversation about the posts made by Spartaculous. I have reread the posts and there is a false confidence to them. I say false because the tone seems misplaced, and the tone doesnt match the content of the posts. It reads like a new scum player who doesnt know that they have to be nervous about things.
Does such a thing exist? well, thats why we play the game. I would argue yes. it very much does exist. we have seen fearless mafia plays out of people recently, such as will, and I do think its much easier to play as mafia in a very early game than it is to do so later when your habits are on display.
What struck me as odd, and still does is that sparta has no townreads, and seemingly no actual scumreads. This alone is just maybe inexperience but add on top of that, they dont seem to want to inform their reads with any form of dialogue. The closest thing there is to a scumread is to make a somewhat underhanded attack on rdrivera about his lurking habits. And the weird part is that I dont really think rdrivera is even a lurker this game by the normal definitions.
What ive seen out of sparta indicates to me a player who isnt curious. They are not asking any questions or conveying anything about how to read other players alignments, or anything that can certifiably be considered towny looking.

If you need to re-read, what was the basis for your strong conviction that Sweet is not scum?damo666 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 3:00 pmYou'll have to await me rereading (on p16).Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 2:45 pmForgive me, ahem:

You have posts I'm supposed to respond to?
I just recall you saying "scum" and "fake", etc.

I personally was scumming Sparta the most before I decided to sheep brain.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 1:12 pmwhy the emphasis on we must sheep brainbomb, but only on the sparta read? why not on vecna?
Fun fact, didn't realize he was the lead wagon until after I checked the bot.
From the sweetandcool is scum POV it must look like I am making an excuse to drive an easy MK, I suppose.

You know Jamiet, I believe you have proven to be incredibly poor at Town reading me historically. Just something you should be aware of.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 1:32 pmProve it.
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
@Jamie this post (esp about Will) is one reason sweet ain't scumsweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:29 pmI just attempted a reads list, but halfway through I got really tired of it and I kept essentially calling everyone null. I'm just going to post an extremely condensed version of it and then make a follow up post about who I am willing to vote for, who I am not willing to vote for.
damo: His vote for sweetandcool feels like a parody of his normal play. Still, not much content to really assess his alignment, I can only divine that he is busy.
rdr: Seems happy. Is actually towning me.
Dr.brain: I really like his play so far. I really just need to make a separate post about the content of the discussion he is generating, but I don't have the time today.
Ham: ??? Is excited about the game though, that must make him TOWN.
Pirate: Hmmmm, did follow through with unvoting me when I came back. Is making the classic newbie mistake of scumreading players you don't understand (bona). I want to conclude soft town.
worcej: I'm liking him this game but normally I feel nothing. Does that make him scum?
bozothetown: Opened the game pretty tinfoily. I think this is town bozo.
ghug: I think he is actually scum this game. Call it vibes. No, I am not able to make a case at this time. I am reasonably confident that by D3 I should know for sure.
Balki: I like him this game. I think him "panicking" about the lack of content is generally more townie, but I don't know his scum game and if that is a scum trick of his.
Jamiet: I'm actually pretty good at figuring out when he is Mafia. I'm not sure yet, but he is feeling worse rather than better so far. His reaction to my RNG vote was Authentic, but in the follow up discussion around it his suspicions of me didn't display the critical thinking I would expect from Town Jamiet.
Will: I think there is a decent chance Will is scum. Bona has correctly pointed out that Will's content mostly lacks substance. My discussion with him also indicated that Will's state of mind was one of disinterest in solving the game, which is less likely to come from Town.
