Lots of good looking analysis so far.

I look sufficiently good that I'm going to focus on productive analysis rather than wasteful defense.

I will however address the bussing theory that has naturally blossomed, but I'm only going to say this once:

Every game that Will and I have been teammates has involved massive bussing. So suspecting it occured yet again is only natural. However, if you look back at those previous occasions you will see that when I initiated bussing it was because I felt like Will looked so scummy that I absolutely could not resist voting him.

This game was quite different. My suspicion of Will was present and reasonable, but not strong. I feel that if I was Mafia that I would have been a lot more emphatic with my read on Will.

I am proud of my streak on reading Will correctly, I think only my first game with him did I get him wrong. Bona and I deserve credit for locking him away, but feel free not to locktown us too hastily.
you are also scum

Why "exactly one"?
How many times do you need to repeat the same question after I already answered it?

I didn't think they were one the same team.

That makes one of them town, and the other one scum.

Do you require me to draw you a diagram?
I took your first answer to mean you did not think they were both town, but I did not see how it explained why they could not both be mafia.

I would not be too quick to dismiss bussing. The chance Just went from 0 to 7 town votes in 1.5 hours does not seem that high.
I haven't dismissed bussing. But the folks I called out as Towncore cast votes that did not look like bussing to me. I did not include ghug or worcej because those votes looked more NAI based on the context.

Mafia rules are linked to at the start of the thread; they are easy enough to figure out.
As Vecna pointed out later, and I just confirmed, it isn't posted anywhere in the Chaqa posts nor the linked google doc. Why would he lie about this?

Catching up again from where I went to sleep.

I live right by the ocean so we stay fairly temperate here. But am sad to say Maine does now get over 90 days in the summer when it never has before. Just got a couple heat pumps (mostly for heat....but the AC might be useful a couple weeks this summer).

Don't pew pew a bunny. We're adorable.
My wife and I are talking about vacationing in Maine this summer. We've wanted to go there for a long time. Got any suggestions for fun things to do?
More nothing (But Sparta...we should totally talk after the game. Got LOTS of awesomeness here. It's Vacationland!)

Well....you get the idea....

I just want a tie man.

I have no reads.
What kind of tie do you want? Silk? Something a bit more matte?

What kind of color?

OK....so LoW maybe is town but Sparta is scum. Bozo was bussing to try and save Just.

I think this also confirms damo town (following the conclusions from the Just dive). I don't see Sparta playing like this and voting a teammate first vote and never changing.

So...Just-Sparta-bozo-?? Balki?

Town: Bona, damo, Jamie, Vecna

Need to read bozo and Balki next....but they posted more....
BunnyGo: As I am sure you are aware, this is my first game of Mafia.

Before playing, I thought about what my strategy should be. I believe that most people who play this are way too overconfident in their ability to guess alignments based solely off of day 1 chitchat, and I have even less faith in my own abilities to do so.

Accordingly, I resolved to pick one other person at random, vote them at the very start of the phase, and then refuse to switch. You can see that that is exactly what I did. Once I put in my vote for damo, I basically gave myself 48 hours to chitchat and engage in general silliness (it's the end of the term for me, so I was in a silly mood). If memory serves, I only made one really meaningful post - I asked rdrivera about lurking, and that was a genuine question. (I am still wondering if lurkers tend to survive longer in this game.)

Now, things are different - I have actual votes to analyze knowing that Will was mafia, along with the bees incident to sleep on tonight. But I am still trying to not emotions and words influence me too much. For example, I have had positive interactions with sweetandcool elsewhere on this forum. I appreciate those, but I don't want that to make me more likely to think of him as on my team. (As I said before, I am genuinely impressed by him being the one to start the Will wagon.)

Going in the opposite direction: I know it feels hollow for me to say this now, but I'll say it anyways: I was put off by the patronizing attitude that Will showed here:
JustAGuyNamedWill wrote:

Oh as per official newb shield Spartaculous will not receive my vote until day 3 or later. Lord of Words maybe bc hes played elsewhere
Even before the flash wagon (thanks bozo!) on him, I was seriously thinking about voting him on day 2. But still, I was unsure how much I was simply influenced by finding him annoying - I didn't want that to turn into undue suspicion. I still feel like we (speaking on behalf of all of the players) got lucky on Will more than anything else. Maybe I'm just too inexperienced here.

One last thing: I didn't lie in my response to Will's question about me learning to vote. I dodged it; there's a difference in that to me.

Not much time left, and I suppose I need to cast my vote. I’m inclined to break the tie one way or the other. If either side is willing to drop a TLDR of reasons within 10 mins, I’ll read it and weigh the options. Will’s side has more reasons overall, so I’m inclined to go that direction right now. If no one drops anything, I’m going to

##Vote will
What did you think the reasons for suspecting Just were?
currently catching up, so I'm not sure if this question is still relevant or if you still want the answer. If you do, it is as follows: I don't remember the exact reasons, I'll have to check back through the logs, but I do distinctly remember that the other tiebreak (damo iirc) didn't seem to have any really concrete reasons for suspicion (I remember at least 1 vote was from the very start of the day, with no reasons given at all). I'll elaborate more once I have caught up.

I'm not sure what to make of the dramatic bee-related mishap earlier, but I wonder if the bees gift to damo was intended to be used on me. (foodcoats voted for me in the previous round, and I voted for damo; foodcoats being happy with damo using the bees on me seems like a logical outcome.)

damo, why didn't you sting me instead of foodcoats?

One last thing: when I was signing up for the game, I misinterpreted the role of the Beekeeper. I didn't realize that there was only one of each item. I was really hoping I would be the Beekeeper, and I would have just given out Bees every single night.

Bzzz.
