My wife and I are talking about vacationing in Maine this summer. We've wanted to go there for a long time. Got any suggestions for fun things to do?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 4:46 pmPost 22:
Catching up again from where I went to sleep.
I live right by the ocean so we stay fairly temperate here. But am sad to say Maine does now get over 90 days in the summer when it never has before. Just got a couple heat pumps (mostly for heat....but the AC might be useful a couple weeks this summer).
Don't pew pew a bunny. We're adorable.

I think Jamie and Will are my towniest townreads at this point. Brain is up there too but he really fooled me last game so I’m more cautious about reading him now.

That was the game before that.ghug wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 5:02 pmNo, you crumbed a PR with your temporary avatar, which leaves no trace, breaking the established rules of communication.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 9:29 amBy the way, if anyone is wondering, I will remain a theatrical ghost for the entire duration of this game, because in my last game (as a player) I upset a few irritable, joyless individuals who do not understand the concept of fun, by changing my avatar during the game.
In this game I am trying to have fun despite the close scrutiny of the fun police, but I promise not to change my avatar.
Buzz buzz buzz!
You seemed to understand at the time, but now I'm worried you haven't actually learned anything.
I am referring to the time when I used my Avatar to imitate Chaqa and he had a nervous breakdown.

now im reading ghug wondering how he can conclude that vecna is sheeping his every move, and how he assumes that this is just a rerun of Happy Days.
the question is, would ghug be the fonz, or would vecna?

BTW Ghug lots of other places, like MafiaUniverse, have avatars too. I changed my Avatar in my last MU game and nobody even mentioned it.
(And I don't even like MU, I'm just saying).

Why do you think he's more likely to do this as town?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 7:08 pmI tend to think Bunny doing this kind of antics is more likely town then scum , but of course it can be faked. Agree that setting possible votes could be scum keeping his options open, but I will need to re-read to look at this as I skipped some pages last night and I am barely keeping updated today.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 7:00 pmHow on earth does HB look towny to anyone? I heard 1 person say they sound happy, and thats the only reasoning I heard so far.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:52 pm
I really don't get this list. Why Bunny and HB? They look towny to me.
Ive talked about the bunny read in-depth. Dude was way too fast to pass off a TR on me just because I pointed out he missed a single post number. Then he sheeped me twice on scummy people, in such a way as he set them up for justifiable future votes. Then he used another overly simplistic reason to TR me later on. All felt very artificial to me, but im sure its one of those occasions where you only notice it if it involves you.

You might have a point here Brain. Worthy of considering.brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:32 pmId like a conversation about the posts made by Spartaculous. I have reread the posts and there is a false confidence to them. I say false because the tone seems misplaced, and the tone doesnt match the content of the posts. It reads like a new scum player who doesnt know that they have to be nervous about things.
Does such a thing exist? well, thats why we play the game. I would argue yes. it very much does exist. we have seen fearless mafia plays out of people recently, such as will, and I do think its much easier to play as mafia in a very early game than it is to do so later when your habits are on display.
What struck me as odd, and still does is that sparta has no townreads, and seemingly no actual scumreads. This alone is just maybe inexperience but add on top of that, they dont seem to want to inform their reads with any form of dialogue. The closest thing there is to a scumread is to make a somewhat underhanded attack on rdrivera about his lurking habits. And the weird part is that I dont really think rdrivera is even a lurker this game by the normal definitions.
What ive seen out of sparta indicates to me a player who isnt curious. They are not asking any questions or conveying anything about how to read other players alignments, or anything that can certifiably be considered towny looking.
Potato, potato; potato.

I don't think he's actually sheeping me. I think we're reaching similar conclusions.

When I played on MU, there was a rule against anything that could be perceived as game-related communication in your avatar changes.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 7:22 pmBTW Ghug lots of other places, like MafiaUniverse, have avatars too. Bees police the cleanliness of their hives through routines and behaviour. They are a fascinating creature.
Anyway, I think my commute home will get in the way of my voting, and I won't pull off into a gas station to post.
D1 being what it is, if I add my vote to a town role, I apologize in advance. There's no one I'totally sold on, so today is for data collection purposes.

GM Post:
Tensions ran high within the meadery. Brilgor's suspected murder weighed heavy on the workers, as did the doors being barred and guards being posted by the town around the meadery to keep the suspects in line. A group of investigators were on their way, but would be some time. The workers murmured and schemed and planned to take matters into their own hands, lest they too wind up dead...
