I posted the actual, un-doctored quotes. You, and everyone else, may click the post links and verify this for themselves.
You called out Spartaculous for doing exactly the kind of thing you do yourself - responding to posts but not addressing the content of them or answering the questions contained therein.
Why do you scumread me, thicko?

On a scale of 1-10 how certain are you that he is scum? What's town Ham look like? It's kind of hard to tell these days since he is frequently scum and frequently killed early.

Once upon a d1 dreary, while I snoozed, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a yakking,
As of people loudly yapping, yapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some dork,” I muttered, “yapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”

I think my strategy for D1 is to watch how the day ends. I haven't read anything closely enough to warrant throwing an opinion at the wall. I can't check the mafiabot here at work so when I last looked I thought I saw you in the lead.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 7:36 pmYo, Ham sandwich, how are you? What's your strat for D1? I'd normally advise you to stay quiet since you always get voted D1, but since participation this game has been particularly flaccid, why not give us all some hot hot takes.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 7:35 pmCan I sell my unused posts to posters in danger of surpassing the cap? I really like the notion of no nightchat. To be able to go back and process the day, track the voting, and develop some hypotheses/accusations/suspicions without the additional noise of night posting is a blessing for me. Maybe I can be on the right side of solving one of these things for once.

My strat is working then. I figured voting out a VT is better than you being the D1 again.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
GM Note -Flavor Only
It had not been a complete surprise when Brilgor Wetbeard had been chosen as the new brewmaster of the Melodia Meadery. He had spent the past 40 years as a brewer and familiar face behind the bar at the attached meadhouse. His face was well known to the townsfolk, merchants, and travelers alike.
In the years since, life had gone on in Melodia, with the meadery's continued success under strong leadership. Brilgor, a genial dwarve, did not notice the growing discontent within his foreman, nor the character of his new hires. One o these new hires beckoned Brilgor to a remote part of the meadery to take a look at a supposed rat problem.
Brilgor would not be long for this world. The Foreman and his goons quickly disposed of him, attempting to make it appear an accident, but questions are soon raised and the staff find themselves not on house arrest, but work arrest. The mead must keep flowing lest the town grow poor, so we find our brave workers trying to go about their day as the shadows of paranoia and suspicion hang over them...
When the work day ends, who will they take their suspicions out on?
Just under 24 hours remain in the day.

I don't really have any reads right now. Just growing resentment and dissatisfaction.
Talk to me baby.
What's good strat for D1? Should we be finger pointing out scum reads? Or is it better to lay back unless we got something strong?
In other words, what's the point in campaigning D1?

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Two games ago I had decided to just do a RNG vote D1 and resist the urge to get too involved. I plan to do it as either alignment until I actually get a good scum game. Last game I just didn't care about the setup, so I didn't do it.ghug wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 8:08 pmWhy did you decide to return?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 7:26 pmYo Balki, I'm back.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 7:20 pmHalf the game has made 7 or less posts...

This game, on a whim I added that I was going to disappear. And I actually did spark some interesting reactions, so I am happy. I decided to come back because participation is low and it's not fun not to post. And I would really rather have fun.
