Remember we still have politics, military, religion, and sports as potential options.
Re: 20 Questions - Game 272
This could be a wasted question if they were not born in Canada. The only remaining part of the western half of the US is Alaska.Diplomacy&Warfare wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 11:27 amBorn in the eastern half of the country they were born in?
Re: 20 Questions - Game 272
Yes (again broadly).Primarily known for a military role?
Of course!Born in what is currently Canada?
Since you've repeated the question, I have to do my best to answer it; although you have not taken up my suggestion to refine what you mean by "government office". Yes, he was appointed to a governmental office, and is best known for his work in this office.Best known as the holder of an appointed government office at the state/province or national level?

6,15. Primarily known for a military role (defined broadly); may also be famous for politics, sports, or religion (all defined broadly).
8,12,17. Best known for his work in a governmental office to which he was appointed; but not his country's Supreme Court; and not an elected official.

Re: 20 Questions - Game 272
Why is that a wasted question? All you know about his time period so far is he could have been involved in anything from the Napoleonic Wars (OK maybe just a bit young for that, but close) to the Cold War.
Re: 20 Questions - Game 272
Does he appear on the List of Military Figures section in Lists of Canadians on Wikipedia?

Re: 20 Questions - Game 272
Based on the fact that you're asking, it probably is relevant. But this person would be a minimum of 40 years old at the start of WWII, and that's only if they were born at the very end of this range. I'll ask since you pointed it out.
Did this person fight in World War 2?

Re: 20 Questions - Game 272
Every player gets one free guess that you can use at any point before Q20 is answered. (Q19 was just asked.)
So feel free to make your guess right now, if you have a good idea! (You can make it conditional on the answer to Q19. Example: "If yes to Q19, then ... ".)

Oh, we can make one before the 20 questions are up. In that case, free guess: General Arthur Currie?
