A mass claim turns the game into a series of counterclaims and clears. Simple as that. But with all of our cop scans, I think the puzzle will come more into focus.

The alternative is to allow scum to run the game.

Do you at least agree we need to follow our two clears or are you now open wolfing?

An interesting framework. I daresay used when you need a day to go without discussion.

I openly declare that I will vote for whoever I want, regardless of what our town clears want. What now, then?

I will further point out that you have not demonstrated with any degree of certainty that mass claims will turn this game into a series of counterclaims and clears. Are you ever going to do this or will you forever avoid the question?

In my understanding and experience, in a PR-heavy game, when Town gets down to a level where they have to Daykill correctly or they lose, it’s almost always time to put all information on the table. I.e., mass claim.

The benefit is that we force scum to come forward immediately with their claims, which either creates a huge pool of VT-claims, and a set of town clears, or else it creates a list of people who have claimed the same role (CCs).

Some of the potential CCs may be further sorted in this game with all of the Cop scan data we have.

So, it seems to me overwhelmingly beneficial to mass claim today, put all info in the thread, and follow our clears. There are just too many wolves in the herd to carry on a normal vote.

Also, @Snowy, I’ll offer you unsolicited advice. It doesn’t make the game brighter to add insults to your posts. It doesn’t advance your win condition, it doesn’t set a good example, and it doesn’t make the game more fun.

This is also why I support a mass claim now. All of this.

I am extremely interested in why ghug and snowy don’t want to do one though.

I don't curse often, but dear gods this is messed up, convoluted and annoying. If we're sharing all our fucking roles? Fine. I'm vanilla cop. I'll confirm that. So ND confirmed macho makes sense. Are we all going to lay our cards on the table now? for all to see? and the angels and judges and all the other scum factions can now pick and choose which cop they like the least and murder them in night phase? or even worse, get what could be town's final saving grace, possibly a single doctor, killed? Fucking hell...

geez... this has gone way south from what I expected. slightly calmer now, that took a minute. reading through this entire day has been pretty bad. apologies for cursing, but I'm not changing it. those are my words and feelings, and that is how I make it clear.

right then, who to believe. Firstly, end hammer is, in my eyes, totally wrong here. If everyone is throwing out their roles, we better all do it and then discuss. Secondly: all un contested claimants are fine in my eyes (so far). by pigeon hole principle, I'm pretty sure that we are guaranteed to run into a contradiction. 12 people left, 12 town positions to fill, and several of those town positions are now no long viable (due to being revealed by death/claim). I have no clue how to continue here, so please, enlighten me!

Ive explored it. ive explored every inch of you. and every post you made. I attempted to drive the case without claiming and as per usual no one listens to my logic, my cases, my arguments, and they just run off into la la land ignoring me.

I think the safest bet is in fact Will personally, though I am open to shooting judges in particular as they have all the kill power if anyone has any guesses

Mine is DrFidelis judge, based on Dip's scum slip argument which was rather enthusiastic, which makes me want to flip there first

Considering me and Worcej being scum now is just losing time and focus. I think the right play today is going for Will or DrFidelis as I think they have a good chance of being a Judge and we need to catch Judges.

Snowy, do you think Brain play here is believable (lying about visits?). This is making me mad, because my tendency is to just want to get him killed because of this, even if it's true it's an anti-town play, I can't understand this.

I kind of buy it, because of brainbomb being brainbomb and also his D3 is consistent with the scan

His D2 comments about ND is my main concern but I think the game makes sense with brainbomb being cop?

Scum are going to fake claim cop scans here. We do not simply believe a guilty cop scan. We put all info on the table and we follow our clears.

Balki, I am willing to convinced, but I fail to see how a mass claim improves town's chances of winning at this time. Please spell it out to me rather than appealing to emotion.

So, I don’t see it as really the improvement to winning but almost certainly improving our odds to not lose.

If we get today wrong, it becomes 5-3-3 and now we’re effectively kingmakers for the scum teams. The next day phase turns into the angel team trying to get town to empower them while the dark faction hopes they got the MMA lit.

However, the dark faction using the pyro one phase early to time it for this 6-3-3 has me really thinking that the 3rd one is the poisoner, giving them enough kills to control the game.

This is why I truly, almost every ounce of my soul, want to vote out snowy this phase over anyone.
