Dip's wagon D1, we have Snowy and sweet doing single votes on him on and off throughout the day. They finally get on at the same time with a little under half an hour left, and brain joins to make it 3, tied with Balki and sweet for second behind damo. Good look for brain. Damo then votes sweet over the other two, which could possibly point to protection, and then Chaqa votes damo and some others vote trying to start new wagons. Just gives up on a Hamilton wagon and votes Balki, putting Balki and sweet in a two-way tie for second, and then Chaqa gives sweet his fourth vote. The stated goal here is protecting sweet, but I think it's plausible Chaqa busses and also possible it's a subtle Balki defense. I then vote sweet, followed by brain, and the wagon slowly dies, with Will briefly pushing it back up to 3. I could see that as Will trying to make any wagon happen or Will thinking it's safe to bus now that the wagon is small, so my opinion on him doesn't move much.

Dip's wagon D2, Chaqa, food, and sweet made it the biggest wagon outside of rd in the early going, but it fell off not that far into the day. Brain also tried at some point. Not much there.

I think the only takeaway here is that brain is less likely to be an angel.

A lot of wagons died out of fear of empowering the MMA. The wagon on me probably did the same.

I think the Ham flash succeeded because of all three. I think many people didn't really want to vote damo or sweetandcool or both.

I think there was a small undercurrent of suspicion towards Ham throughout the day. I think this was extremely exacerbated by him popping on near EoD, voting for someone he didn't scumread, all while saying he was leaving the thread and wouldn't be back.

So was there Mafia involvement? Was it because they were protecting a teammate (damo) or was it because they weren't under pressure and happy to support a flash?

This post, including the parts I snipped, was extremely helpful as someone who missed the entire Ham flash. I agree that this is probably scum protecting either sweet or damo - possibly both. The talking about yourself in third person is a little bit weird, though.

Dip and War vote seems more like coaching to Pirates than looking for a valid reason to sus him.

Vote for chaqa seems like dip thinks he made a real catch.

Dip vote on sweet displays evidence and shows that dip was willing to present conjecture as evidence against people he felt were town he could vote.

Dip is willing to claim the wagon on himself died out of fear of sparking the Machine, and he says this to ghug, which makes ghug seem less likely to be teamed with him.

Suddenly starts voting damo, asking Will if Will wants damo to die, asks if anyone townreads damo which could be dip just bussing damo here.

Then pushes fidelis which looks hungry and mad aggressive. He really thinks fid is the other scumteam here now and joined damo instead.

I think it would be really great for all my fellow townies to look at the Dip wagon and describe who they think is the scum on there and why.

As I have said I think it is JustAGuyNamedWill IF D&W is scum. There is also another player who looks bad IF D&W is town - I will endeavour to iso them this afternoon, so hopefully we do not hammer until we get closer to T-24.

The only other thing to note about my #justdipthings connection is that I only looked at how D&W came up in Just's iso, and not how Just appears in D&W's iso -but for my present purposes of identifying the scum on D&W's wagon I don't think I need to see D&W's take on Just just yet.
