There was this small tinge of how defensive he was to his early pressure, and seemed to have way too strong reads while trying to defend against his wagon.

It all felt a bit artificial.

Disclaimer; I dont have strong confidence in any of this. Might just be that he's a PR or w/e panicking.

If I was a scum i definately wouldve given him a nice gasoline shower.
Vecna says that if he was scum, damo would be worth killing because he’s likely a PR or scum.

And he specifically hones in on a specific judge ability to illustrate his kill.

Hmmmmmmmmm
Damo practically soft claimed on D1, so I see where Vecna reasoning is coming from, but not sure I agree with this stance.

I don't think Damo is the right kill today.
Oh how interesting, I didn't catch that. But now that I go back and search his posts I do see that he said that he would be helpful later on.

I thought at the time he was referring to the fact that his play tends to get a lot better after D1, which is something he and I both said earlier in the phase.

Yeah, I guess that would be considered softing.

Show of hands, who all noticed that damo softed a PR during D1?

This might actually be important.

I would say I thought he might be trying to soft, but it is unclear whether he wasactually doing so

I did.
Was why I moved to dip
But damo never claimed anything so I considered it possibly
A fake

Then hamilton happened and he was a scumread so I went for flipping a scumread instead.

We should be evaluating damo on the sum of all his parts. Were into day 2 now. We have plenty of posts by him to review. i did a night analysis on him but I do have to say his tone and engagement have been fine today. Not nearly as scummy

I have rescinded the results so you can just focus only on the choices made by each person. the one I was not sure of was chaqa who claimed a true and based on reread it looks like it was on ghug?
Where did you get the idea that I scanned you?

TRUE

Compiling results is anti-town, just make sure they're out and clear (brain...) for now.

I want to say he is probably just Mafia here. But other than the potential of getting a Judge, it wouldn't give us any info.

I saw Dr. Fidelis online. I think we should just dunk him because I'm sick of this hiding nonsense.
Be nice.

Eh? I didn't say anything even close to not nice. And "hiding nonsense" was meant to apply to all extremely low activity players, though yeah particularly DrFidelis.

Anyways damo if you don’t have an impeccable explanation for that post then I’m gonna vote you
I agree that Damo's post is illogical. Is it the kind of illogic that comes from Scum or Town? That's what I'm considering.
Town!damo is a very logical fellow. I was surprised he wasn’t all up in the mech talk earlier.
He came at it with a novel, PR-hunty sense of analysis, which feels more like town Damo to me.

Damo soft claiming with 2:18 to go:

"Attention townspeople voting me (at least 4 by my reckoning): you are making a mistake and STRONGLY advise you switch.

Although I still like my sweet vote that wagon appears to lack dk potential having ben around for a while. All the other wagons with the exception of no-kill are in my vote pool so I will ##vote Kak who apart from being second wagon is voting no-kill which is not sensible in this set up.

I expect Kak will now switch to me making it 6-5 so I need at least one person voting me to move off.
"

Compared to this game with 7:54 left:

"Looks like a straight fight between me and sweet.

I would ask my voters to think again. I will be valuable later in game."

----------_----------_----------------------

I really don't think he was making a serious softing attempt.

My main takeaway from this facet of damo's eod1 was that he was speaking in a way that would make people hesitate to vote him without committing to it
