It is true the townies stumble over their words, make logical fallacies, etc. and perhaps I should be more inclined to lynch over bad logic later in the game when Scum are more likely to be forced into bad logic than on D1 when no one has enough information to have truly sound logic. Still... he seemed by far the scummiest to me.


I wish I had Peterbot to look at the EoD with... but it lacked a lot of movement at the EoD... I think the only movement in the last 45 mins were:

• Bozo voting Brain;
• Neph voting Bozo;
• Bozo voting Chippe; and
• Chippe voting Bozo

The Bozo to Chippe vote and the Chippe to Bozo vote are most easily described as each seeking to join the opposing wagon.
The Bozo voting Brain, and Neph voting Bozo are a little more interesting...

• @Bozo - Did you really think a Brain wagon would take off that late in the day? Furthermore, you seemed to suspect BB 1) because he asked to be converted; and 2) because he defended Chippe, then voted him, then changed his vote... you claimed they may be a scum pair... if so... why try and start the Brain wagon instead of just joining the Chippe wagon?
• IF Bozo is scum... (Scum) Neph would be pretty bold to move to his scum mate, especially for a new player...

@ Jamie - your recent post indicated you thought Bozo was scum and potentially another scum was on the Chippe wagon... it was unclear to me (especially after Yavu's "confusion") whether you were stating you think Scum Bozo's partner was on the Chippe wagon or not...

Generally scum prefer to be spread out a bit.

Right now my most likely scum candidates are Yav, Squigs, and Bozo, in that order. However, I still have enough nulls that this is far from certain.

If Bozo is scum with Squigs, that was a risky bus since Bozo was in some danger, however as the first Bozo voter, Squigs would have looked highly suspect jumping off Bozo at the end and thus may have been stuck there. Experienced scum often wait until about 8 to 12 hours from EoD to vote, to reduce the likelihood of getting stuck like that. But I don't think Squigs has very much scum experience. So, it's possible.

If Bozo is scum with Yav, the situation is relatively similar, since Yav was the second voter on Bozo's wagon.

If Bozo is town and Squigs and Yav are the scumteam, they may have been just as happy with a Bozo mislynch as a Chippe mislynch, and thus happy to stay put anyway.

The other Chippe voter I need to take a good look at is Worcej. I'll do that soon if time allows (though I am on a train and using my phone, and the lack of the Peterbot doesn't help with re-reads...)

It was a joke, since you used this reasoning with ChippeRock scumreading me and you.
Plus, I was voting Bozo all of D1, while Bozo was voting me about half of D1. In the ChippeRock case, I never voted you and was town reading you.

Ok so I've looked back at Worcej. There's not much to read because he didn't post very much.

I did notice one thing that strikes me as odd. In his first post on page 10, Worcej announced that DrCJG was his top scumread, but didn't vote him.

Then on page 20 Worcej voted for ChippeRock and commented that he no longer scumread DrCJG because he "has improved".

I can't see a huge difference in DrCJG's posting style, attitude, or insights in the first 10 pages compared to his contributions over pages 11 to 20.

Personally, based upon the EOD votes I think that it is the most likely scenario that scum was both on Chippe and not.

worecj - not much contributed, context of his vote may have something? Jamie's analysis gives me pause, want to see his reasoning for that - null/scum
Yav - he claimed early he likes lots of wagons as it gives masons places to hide (#316). This also benefits scum. He never gave logic as to why Chippe was town although called it nearly from the start. This puts him higher up my scumlist.
Squigs - caused me a lot of suspicion at the start although has eased these concerns to a degree, slight scumlean
Jamie - been one of my higher townreads, see a possibility that he is scum although more on the unlikely side, impressed so far - town
Damo - Hasn't really given me much of an impression, although seems the tops anchor poster - null
Yoyo - Does he exist? - gonna sit scumlean cause I'm struggling with possible pairs
BB - Seems a little more restrained than the other time I observed him, doing things to try and make the game more interesting and, townish
Bozo - Doesn't really seem interested, personally don't see a lot of substance, scumlist
CJG - seems rather eloquent but making some points, was the first vote on Chippe - nu;l
RHK - reasonable analysis against Chippe 2nd to vote, don't really know what to make of this. Null I guess?
