This also seemed way too on the fence for rdr who usually offers alignments on these kind of fights

This Balki and Sweet thing is annoying.

Does Sweet played with Balki before? I don't think so. Balki is always like this. And he always dies early one way or another.
Rivera you found this annoying and nothing in it alignment indicative? Not even t/t?

I have never ever played mafia before (and have now jumped into the deep end with custom things... this will be fun, i hope), though I cannot speak for DrFidelis.

Balki kinda sus ngl... perhaps he is imposter? Once we eject him, perhaps we may find out? Unless Balki wishes to perform a Visual Task like med scan before the time runs out, I'm afraid I will have to

##VOTE BALKI
Seems to be asking balki to doc claim here? Very weird and alot of flavour being forced into this post. Can be justified by hes just new and in pure experimentation.

Cool. Tell us why.
no visual task completion, and no one has so far vouched for you doing your tasks like a good crew mate. kinda sus ngl...

I am going to stick with this bit for a while.
What are the tasks? Did I miss the joke here?

Sticking with the gimmick of being sherlock interrogator seems town to

Trying to understand ND wacked out behavior is something only the bravest mortal should attempt.

You seem strangely fixated on disproving the notion that you could be coached.

What do you think has been the most interesting thing about this game? Is there anything that you find confusing so far?
it has been brought up more than once, and I'd like to put those accusations to rest.

My greatest confusion stems from my inexperience and lack of communication in this setting. Everyone already seems settled in and is taking everything in stride, while I'm kinda sitting here trying to keep track of all the directions the discussion is going. accusations and defenses, as well as posts that may not even be relevant! and it's all updating so quickly... Also, I'm very unfamiliar with the mannerisms of people playing mafia, so I don't understand the significance of things such as amount of participation, voting patterns, etc. and how those can be tells to if someone is Mafia or not (side note: is scum the same as mafia?).

As for interesting, I like the overall experience of the game, and general excitement I'm getting. I sincerely enjoyed Among Us when it was big, and social deduction games have always been fun for me. I probably should've tried Mafia before, but never could find a group that was interested :(.
Not understanding the significance of participation is also not something a new mafia player would discuss. This looks like town to me

It didn’t really seem like a joke to me:
I know I'm biased against you right now, due to your alignment, but reading through this I just can't really buy any of it.

Please note, I'm not saying your analysis is rubbish, just that I don't agree with it at all.
I am not following what Sweet is trying to communicate here. Why is he saying he is biased? What doesn't he agree with? And I feel like his tone and the words he chooses suggest that he actually thinks brainbomb is Town.

It's bluster. "I know I'm biased against you, because you're scum..."

He's saying even inviting his prior read, he dislikes brain's analysis.

Whether he's actually capable of ignoring his read to assess objectively, I don't know.

I clearly need to get to know you better because now it sounds like you are making a joke

I am biased against brainbomb because he is Mafia and I am Town.

It's true that I didn't really indicate clearly what I disagreed with, but that's because I essentially disagreed with it all, or at least the significance brainbomb was attempting to put on his analysis.

i ran out of time for more rereads but in particular I feel like the rdrivera one is a good candidate for scum. Pirates seems town to me and snowy im strongly leaning town. Worcej looks like mafia.

Feel free to discuss those iso studies and ask me any questions you have.

The part that seemed strange to me was the way you spoke to Brainbomb. You seemed to speak to him in a way that you would speak to someone who was making a sincere attempt to make an argument.
Please note, I'm not saying your analysis is rubbish, just that I don't agree with it at all.
If brainbomb were mafia, then his “analysis” would be rubbish. It would be an act. Pretend. But you phrase this like you are apologizing that, while his logic may be fine, you just don’t agree.

I just think that your tone suggests that you might know Brainbomb is Town, while your words say the opposite.

Hmmm, honestly I screwed D1 up and used too much energy.

So actually I think I'm at my most receptive because I don't feel like building cases or anything. Saving energy for D2.

I don't think I'm going to change my mind on you, but who knows. I'm still reading what you are posting (:

Balki, I'm guessing your opinion of me is pretty low, considering how D1 went.

I'm not going to mistreat someone just because I think they are Mafia. Also, I don't see why Mafia is incapable of doing honest analysis. Particularly with 3 factions, scum brainbomb should feel extra motivated to post genuine analysis that makes him look good.

Also, I generally appreciate the work brainbomb puts into the game, and I think it would be cruel to drag through the mud every little thing he says when he has spent good time on it IRL.

You need to untunnel on me, because it seems like you just want to scumread every little thing I say, and that's not healthy.

Sweet, did you begin this game having forgotten how to play town?

Alternatively, do you think my opinion of your town game is too high?

I don't know what your opinion of my town game is, but it's probably too high.

I've had too many mech-fest or scum games in a row that I really do feel like I've lost touch with how to play Town.

sweetandcool (2) Balki Bartokomous Diplomacy&Warfare
DrFidelis (1) ND
foodcoats (1) Hamilton Brian

The only players who can potentially be mean machine N1 are food, fidelis, sweet, or damo

We know if food became activated it was an accident now

We know if Fid became activated ND might actually be their scum partner

We know if sweet became activated one of Balki or Dip is his mafia partner, possibly even both but it doesnt have to be both

If Damo is Angel then he is a turbo powered version of his role, with every possible power: :?: foodcoats :?: rdrivera2005 :?: DrFidelis :?: worcej :?: kingofthepirates :?: Vecna would contain possibly multiple bussers if damo ever flips angel.

If damo is still scum id be most sus of rdr, drfid, and vecna. I do not scumread pirate, food or think worcej could be teamed with damo.

Discuss?

Overall I think damo might just be town, but he kept posturing he was gonna claim some thing and he never relied on a claim to survive, so... I want peoples opinions, talk about this
Good analysis

I've been mostly playing from the can or on lunch breaks, so I can't say I have too strong an opinion on the game

Which does not mean I should not be the mayor

I like Will and ghug, sus king and balki

I don't like the idea of hypo-claiming every round

It would be weird to have off limit players but I wouldn't vote out vecna or rdrivera out of principle unless something drastic happens
The townread on Will and Balki seem to take different paths. He doesnt ever drop the will read but is happy to turn on Balki late. Doesnt like massclaims and hypo, thats fine, not a scummy idea to hate hypo. The stance of unwilling to vote out vecna and rdrivera unless something dramatic happens feels off to me. Vecna not showing up til 4 hours left in the day would seem to be very dramatic of an absence to me. Rdrivera voting for damo, someone he professed repeatedly was town and not a good elimination should be grounds enough to be "dramatic" by rdrivera standards. Which I might add, dramatic rdrivera in a mafia game is if he were to post gifs, or recite poetry. So meh, I buy the rivera take, maybe not the vecna one.

Im getting mixed feelings now on my townread, but when you play the way snowy does you can be afforded some wiggle room to act however the hell you want too on occasion.

So ill let him react to some of this and see what he has to say about some of the red flags in here
I think you missed "sus"

I found his focus on the judge that powers up by receiving votes unlikely to be something he would come to given only the information in the game thread, given his behavior in past games.

He also hadn't done much to appear towny, and I think there was a large group of people who simply wanted a counterwagon.

A more interesting question is why earlier attempts at the same, such as the wagon on you, failed.
Don't you mean like, the Angel? Mean Machine or whatever it's called?
Perhaps I do. What do you make of that?
This is interesting. Ghug mistake? Ghug & DrF co-angels?
