Re: Mafia 87: Madness in Mega-City One - GAME THREAD
He was driving through the dawning lights on his bike, mustering the streets. The city never sleeps, but at this time, it was usually sluggish. But he knew, this is the exact time when crime was still fully awake, and with the waking citizens, could hurt the innocents the most.
He stepped on the gas, throwing himself on the side, the engine roaring loudly when he took the sharp turn. He liked to announce his presence, often this was enough to prevent any dumb kids acting up. But not this time it seemed. "Attention, attention, all units, code 407, code 407 in 82 Beringstreet" the radio in his helmet informed him. It was just around the corner, so he increased his speed again and drove there as fast as he could. "Judge Kimble here, I'll take care of it" he answered, taking another sharp turn, making the wheels on his bike scream.
In mere seconds he came to a stop before the shop, and he rushed inside, just in time to see the crime happening: an old lady handing over some fine bakery, and their hard earning, at knifepoint. The young punk even made a show out of how he relished having all this power from robbing this poor shop called 'Ye olde Allentown Sugary Society'.
He brought up his lawbringer and aimed at the punk. "Put the cookie down! Now!" he yelled at the criminal. But this one didn't comply, just giggle and suddenly start to laugh loudly, turning slowly to him. "Ahaha, how funny, you want to stop me? You and what army?"
"I don't need an army, I am the law! Put down your weapons and prepare to be judged!" he answered, still aiming at the criminal. The punk just kept laughing and pointed to something far on the side. "Shoot him" he just said, and a sudden flash appeared in the corner of the eye of Judge Kimble. With a big jump into the air he dodged the gigantic projectile, and the bazooka blew a hole into the front of the shop, making the old lady scream and ducking behind her shop corner.
The punk started to dash towards the Judge. Calmly, he ignored him, turned in the air towards whoever just shot a ballistic missile towards him. A toilet stall had opened and a thug was standing there. Hen aimed, and shot twice. A stunted groan and a thud followed, the thug falling buttwards into the toilet and the door swung and closed again. "Sit down when it is this explosive." The Judge said, then turning to the punk again.
He tried to stab him while falling down to the floor again, but with some movement of his hips, he avoided it. Then he grabbed the stretched out arm of the punk and pressed it even further, and fell down on it, pulling the punk down to the floor in an arm hold. "The long arm of the law always catches you!" "Outch man, that's not funny" the punk said, then suddenly a hand cuff appeared around the arm of the punk, and with proficiency was subdued and cuffed.
"Daylight robbery, illegal weapon possession, illegal weapon use, demolition of citizen business, and from the stank of your breath, use of illegal substances. And the worst, ruining the day of an old lady. You both are hereby sentenced each to fifty year of prison under hard labour conditions to pay for the damages you caused." He stood up from the now incapacitated punk and went towards the toilet to fetch the other criminal and arrest them.
After a quick shackling of the last one, he pulled both prisoners out, and heaved them into a prison car that just arrived in time.
"It's always a good day when justice is met" he said, looking at the prison car driving away with both, then sitting onto his bike again, and drove off to fight more crime in the city ...
Then the intro music begins to play and the movie title shows.

The sweet VS Balki grudge match is one of the most TvT things I’ve seen so far this game. Sweet has bad reasons and Balki is OMGUSing.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 3:50 amI'm suspicious of all this because it looks to me, @sweet, that you felt like you didn't have a good read on me, then you started making some posts about my mechanical discussion that sort of assumed I was Angel, and finally when your "let's not try to chop Angel" thesis was debunked, you retreated to "okay I'm cool with a Balki chop."
That is a super strange progression because your discussion about why I might be Angel came only from a "Balki is unlikely to be Judge" place, which would have likely caused a more genuine progression to think "Oh, Balki is making things hard for the Judges so he is more likely than random to be Town."
Doesn't seem real. And especially because you seemed perturbed by me asking you to explain why you suspected I was an angel, and refused to do it when I asked you at first, just seemed like you didn't have that at all clear in your head, because the whole thing was pretend.
So, I'm feeling like Sweet is more likely than random to be Scum, as his scumhunt appears to be something he is pretending.

Re: Mafia 87: Madness in Mega-City One - GAME THREAD
This moment did strike me as supremely strange to say. there was at one time a wagon on ND, and it seems to have totally vanished. Chaqa, Fidelis and ghug were all voting ND at one point and I dont remember seeing anything from ND that moved everyone away. I asked Fidelis why he was voting here and he moved to damo instead.
This could be ghug bussing sweet, seeing it as inevitable sweet is going down. or ghug on an opposing mafia team to sweet. At the time ghug voted here he had a progression on sweet that was building. Im not completely sure on why it was building however
What can I say? I'm survivin'

its also hard to evaluate because its ND and killing ND usually feels like winning no matter who you are

He also quoted my “this is a bad take” postbrainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 3:48 pmThis moment did strike me as supremely strange to say. there was at one time a wagon on ND, and it seems to have totally vanished.
