thanks for the summary. I don't particularly like piling onto the damo wagon when damo has not said a lot anyway. I feel that in the spirit of fairness, damo should be given a chance, should they desire it, to defend themselves.

Folks who are confidently proclaiming that a player is one scum faction or another, or worse, a specific role, are failing to acknowledge how hard this game is. It’s hard to identify scum on Day one, let alone to specify a particular faction or role. Let’s chop to kill people who seem to be trying to blend in or who are not solving a puzzle. When you suggest that you already know alignments down to the flavor of scum or the exact role you are hunting, you sound quite naive.

I’m not telling you how to play so much as sharing my thoughts on the “X is Angel,” “Y is Judge” narratives that I’ve heard flying around. I hope that everyone will try to identify players who appear to be trying to blend in and who exhibit behavior that suggests they know more answers than the rest of us, rather than buying into the repeated arguments from several players that they can tell who is from what faction and they want to make daykill choices on Day 1 that prioritize chopping one scum faction over another.

We need to kill both scum factions, and we should be looking for either and both, most of all because it is very hard to tell one from another.

For one he avoided all my questions

One of which was asking why he seemed to be townreading will but wanted the record to show he didnt like how pirate was playing.

He also made a post that seemed to imply the angels would be helping town win and it made no sense

Well yes, of course I’d rather flip a judge than an Angel, but I don’t think we’re going to be able to tell who’s who yet.

And if the choice is between someone I strongly think is one of the two mafia parties and someone who I weakly thing is a judge, I’d pick the strong read
