Okay, I finished reading the thread. A few things:
1: I live in the Western Hemisphere
2: I agree that brain is vaguely suspicious
3: I agree with balki's plan and vaguely townread them
4: Ghug is town because they agreed with Balki but didn't change their vote off Balki. Scum Ghug would pay attention to these things and change the vote. In other words, ghug is being too lazy to be scum.
5: I willread Will
6: I brainread brain

So one more thing if we got through with Balki’s proposed plan:

If we do agree on doing it, everyone should find a completely random way to decide who they are targeting (maybe a random number generator) and maybe flip a coin to decide whether they get innocent or mafia result

The cop would obviously pick whoever they want

This can solve a few things:

That way we can remove any chance of mafia interpreting who people are choosing and the risk involved with keeping them alive

We can also allow a venue for the cop to hide why they selected that person

Personally I am for the plan, if that isn’t clear

It will also remove VT’s incentive to ‘Player X INNO’ to a player they already townread, which would remove bias

Of course, we wouldn’t be able to prove that you did it randomly, but vt’s would be incentivized to do it randomly anyway
