That's him. Menachem Mendel Schneerson was born in Ukraine, but fled to New York, and became the seventh Rebbe of Chabad-Lubavitch. In his last years, many Lubavitchers took up the belief that he was the Messiah, which Schneerson may or may not have encouraged.
