Yes, though one could argue since he is a cgi mascot, he isn’t exactly a robotJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 3:19 pmHe literally has the word "robot" in his name.kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 2:38 pmNot sure if he’s definitively a robot or something else… if someone pipes up about this before hominidae answers, please let me know.

Re: 20 Questions Part 242
That would be utterly nonsensical semantic silliness. We know this entity is fictional. By your suggested interpretation, Bender is not a robot, R2-D2 is not a robot, Wall-E is not a robot. Similarly, Tom is not a cat, Jerry is not a mouse, Foghorn Leghorn is not a bird, Porky is not a pig, Daffy Duck is not a duck, etcetera.kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 4:06 pmYes, though one could argue since he is a cgi mascot, he isn’t exactly a robotJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 3:19 pmHe literally has the word "robot" in his name.kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 2:38 pm

This would be ludicrous.

Not Cleatus.
(Passed questions do not count towards the 20.)
It looks like you've had 19 questions answered. Would you like to get some free guesses in (those of you who haven't already) before I answer the last one?

This was originally in a conditional depending on my (as of yet unanswered) question, but:

“Not originally for entertainment and fictional” is really throwing a wrench in this

That's why I'm guessing Astro Boy.Wattsthematter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:33 pm“Not originally for entertainment and fictional” is really throwing a wrench in this
I don't think this means that it can't be the character of a cartoon or something. I think the response is referring to the character in regards to its setting.
Astro Boy was not created (in story) as an entertainer. But then he got sold off to the circus and became an entertainer.

I tried looking for a crossover Clippy/Gladiator meme, but couldn't.
Another excellent pick by the QM.
