I have thoughts about Ghug.

-He has extensively talked about how he is perceived as needing to die N1. This would be a bit of a problem as scum. Ergo, a perceived flawed towngame is a nessecity if he rolls scum.
-His positioning around the wagons can be interpreted as rather convenient from a few points of view. He made the claim earlier that sweet was gut-scum. He made good use of that after the flip to excuse his not chasing that wagon down. Everyone feels its a natural progression, and excuses the missed scumvote at a time-critical moment.
-He sheeps damo onto HB (an excellent vote in a world of HB + ghug being the remaining scum, you actually want HB to be the counter to your GF there).
-Then he just jumps on the person that he sheeped a moment before (Damo). Starting a wagon with someone you apparently scumread given your later vote? seems odd, but nothing too painfull.
-Then a jump onto bunny.

All of these actions can be very well explained as working towards the scum victory conditions that Ghug would need in a world where his GF is under real pressure. He took some real shots at saving the GF without getting real scrutiny for it. He is in a very plausible situation where he wont be scrutinized for living long.

Another point that I feel I need to air; I have a very strong gutfeeling that Ghug is doing a lot of micro-things to get on people's good side. He is actively doing things he knows appeal to people he's played with for quite a while. Normally as town he just tends to ignore those people for the most part.

I have just realised that Ghug never voted me or pushed me as a top scumread at any point in D1.

That's very unusual for him. He usually scumreads me regardless of all other variables.

I've already said I consider ghug and Chaqa the only plausible bussers but I doubt either of them are. I suppose it's vaguely possible Will and or Frog got trapped in a bus but would seem strange play. I'm confident both the other scum were off sweet.

He voted the other viable wagon until literally the last second. That’s not bussing.

Ghug also voted Sweet for an extended period earlier in the day and talked about Sweet quite a lot.

He even addressed, in some detail, previous occasions where he had bussed Sweet.

Our city is getting the first protected bike lanes in the region. It's a really big win and probably going to be a watershed moment. I'll be really glad to be able to safely ride my bike to the downtown and grocery store or maybe let my kid ride with me someday

As a dutch person, it always just baffles me how the rest of the world gets by without this super-obvious and easy to implement QoL.

If only you had chipotle there.

Okay thank you. I see HamB for sure but also his behaviour is so... bizarre and self-contradictory that I find echoes of the way Will played last game. Could scum!HB be so completely forgetful of who he voted and why? At the very least it is an irresponsible way to be town. As for ghug I find Vecna's review of ghug's behaviour compelling, but not so much that, if I had a vote right now, I'd put it on Ghug.

I'm a bit sus of Chaqa and Jamie. I'd be interested to hear more on why you are town reading Jamie in particular.

Thoughts on Bozo and darg?

Not really. Bozo is making funnies. NAI.

Heart is busy IRL and the towniest thing he did was not cave to frog asking for immediate responses. But he’s got enough of a will save to do that as scum too.

Perhaps bozo has really changed a lot since I played Mafia more frequently. I find his approach quite off. Making the entire playerbase a scumread list was odd.

Will locktown (going back to sweet after moving from him to Bunny would make no sense as scum)

Frog - Town putting sweet back in the mix with 10 minutes to go and heavily scumreading him would be odd to do to a godfather scummate

Bunny town - puts sweet to tie with himself, if he were scum surely he votes for me

Damo town (I know I am but for the rest of the class) - my vote puts sweet in the lead at T-8, if scum I vote Bunny

Vecna town - His vote more or less seals sweet's fate so surely is town

Chaqa probtown - puts sweet 6-4 up with 2 minutes to go. Wouldn't scumChaqa hold off to the lastr second to see if there might be a possibility of a save?

ghug - his Bunny vote tying it up 5 minutes out could be construed as a sweetsave attemptbut if so why not stay there and hope for a last second tie? Probtown

Food - not fond of his leaving his vote on Bunny but aas previously explained I town read this slot

HamB - puts Bunny in the lead with 19m to go. As I'm assuming Bunny is town this could be a scum move. I'm very unsure of Ham.

Jamie - votes Bozo (semi jokingly?) and checks out. Posssible scum behaviour but as I previously said if scum I think he would signal that he couldn't be around at EOD

Bozo - votes food, stays there and disappears with a possible signal that he would be unavailable at EOD. Watching ths slot.

brain - votes all over the place and seems to plays avoid the lead wagon. Acting his typical townbrain self but there is say a 10% whiff of suspicion.

heart - not a lot to be said, we'll see what darg says but has to remain on the susslist for now.

Something that I find interesting is that heart appeared immediately after resolution, and bozo also appeared shortly thereafter even though he had hedged off EOD. Given that scum chat is now on Discord and Discord sure loves to alert the shit out of you, I wonder if a "Night has begun scum chat is open" alert from disco brought them back to look.

I've been superbusy so my contributions are low low lobsterball low. I live for the weekends, what can I say.

Anyway I wanted to focus on the top key votes before I looked just now and saw a bunch of ties at 2 each.

I am kind of here right now.

Sweetandcool: quick jump on Bunny for the God posts. Kind of feel he’s making suggestions but circling around coming right out to suggesting anyone is town or mafia to them. Not really seeing the votes for them but that requires a better read of the voters. (ghug and justaguynamedwill).

Brainbomb: coming to the conclusion that it’s best to hold off on any opinions of brain until after D1. The amount of posts are difficult to pull apart. Scums food and bunny. I liked the post where he presented his process. Kind of have a good feeling about him so far. Not inclined to jump to a town conclusion but it doesn’t feel like mafia. Bunny and foodcoats are current voters.

JustAGuyNAmedWill: Kind of presents reads on the spot. Who does that D1? Not the most suspicions thing

I want to know what has formed the opinion of this hard scumread on sweet by Will. I wouldn't say Will is mafia based on sweet's defensiveness (that's a lousy adjective for the point they were trying to make but I can't offer a better assessment of their reaction to will right now).

This post seems pretty suspicious in hindsight.

So much focus on sweet and will.

He says he doesnt understand the votes on sweet, but thats because he hasnt paid attention to the voters.

Then he proceeds to shade Will a bunch and talking about the stuff he has done, but nothing in that regard about Ghug.

Need to check how he found his vote on bunny while his focal point was very much <will/sweet>

brainbomb: Tried to protect sweetandcool, and moved off of foodcoats as soon as I put foodcoats in the lead, so possibly bussing foodcoats.

BunnyGo: Willing to vote for any alternative to his own wagon, moved to sweetandcool at a time he would get credit for bussing, sweetandcool could have been bussing him all D1, and sweetandcool did not PR claim with BunnyGo as the counter wagon.

Chaqa: Tried to protect sweetandcool, said he would not vote for sweetandcool, then voted for sweetandcool while he could still get some bussing credit.

damo: Voting for BunnyGo for not changing his vote when sweetandcool also had not changed his vote and had been voting longer could indicate a fabricated reason for the BunnyGo vote, then when sweetandcool brought it up as possible distancing, damo voted for sweetandcool, then returned to vote for sweetandcool at a time that would maximize bussing credit.

foodcoats: Tried to protect sweetandcool, more obviously than scum would normally do to protect teammates, but that's what makes it a good scum play.

Frogsterking: Returned in time to possibly hard bus sweetandcool for vague reasons.

ghug: Possibly bussed sweetandcool early with the factually incorrect claim that he was 2 for 2 at identifying sweetandcool as mafia, moved his vote around to keep the wagons close to possibly copy his town play, then returned to sweetandcool when the vote was decided.

Hamilton: Low level defense of sweetandcool as EOD.

heart: He always votes as town.

Jamie: Hard to believe he did not understand my comment on Vecna.

Just: Possibly decided to bus sweetandcool early this time.

Vecna: Returned in time to vote for sweetandcool at a time that would maximize bussing credit.
