I'm good with any of these wagons other than Chaqa. Sweet is probably my next least favorite at this point. I townread Bozo, brain, and Chaqa.

The primary motivation of my food vote was to see what would happen. The reads list pinged me a little but it was definitely not my strongest scumread at that point. The reaction, though, is really irking me.

Anyway I wanted to focus on the top key votes before I looked just now and saw a bunch of ties at 2 each.

I am kind of here right now.

Sweetandcool: quick jump on Bunny for the God posts. Kind of feel he’s making suggestions but circling around coming right out to suggesting anyone is town or mafia to them. Not really seeing the votes for them but that requires a better read of the voters. (ghug and justaguynamedwill).

Brainbomb: coming to the conclusion that it’s best to hold off on any opinions of brain until after D1. The amount of posts are difficult to pull apart. Scums food and bunny. I liked the post where he presented his process. Kind of have a good feeling about him so far. Not inclined to jump to a town conclusion but it doesn’t feel like mafia. Bunny and foodcoats are current voters.

JustAGuyNAmedWill: Kind of presents reads on the spot. Who does that D1? Not the most suspicions thing

I want to know what has formed the opinion of this hard scumread on sweet by Will. I wouldn't say Will is mafia based on sweet's defensiveness (that's a lousy adjective for the point they were trying to make but I can't offer a better assessment of their reaction to will right now).

This post seems pretty suspicious in hindsight.

So much focus on sweet and will.

He says he doesnt understand the votes on sweet, but thats because he hasnt paid attention to the voters.

Then he proceeds to shade Will a bunch and talking about the stuff he has done, but nothing in that regard about Ghug.

Okay that sucks; I wanted to ask questions before posting my reads list and stuff. The important thing is that we need to stop dicking around and kill sweet. I'll post this part and hopefully that will be enough:

Damo is town probably based on their posts and my interactions with them in M85.

Sweet is really polarized and easy to read as scum, even without meta, which is mainly how I'm reading them now (without meta.) It's not that complicated at all to find them as scum.

The town block is Will-ghug-damo-frog, all town all on sweet!scum or throwing.

Frog was this a quote or your read? Have you played with sweet other than last game?

I just added the quote tags because it was an excerpt of a larger "reads" post I was working on. It made sense to post it that way at the time. I've only played with sweet the one time before.

Ghug is always the whip for scum but hes also just really nervy as town. So his moves can always be seen through the lens of is this where ghug is gonna hurt town the most or is it actually just him following through.

When I was pointing out his logical writing lacked parallelism and so was hard to read, he thought I was just being mean for nothing and that this was somehow a negging strategy.

But I think I really put him off when I told him what he was going to do. He tried to laugh it off by doing it blatantly and humourously in response (which I really really enjoyed), but I think it also made him self conscious.

I always care. My logic was fine and wasn't even in the post you were insulting. I made a conscious effort to show restraint rather than just get pissed off, which I think was relatively thick-skinned. As scum I'd probably either go off on you or try to ignore it and press on, which are both things I've done before, but I do think what I did here is at the edge of the range of the latter.

I actually thought your analysis of what I was going to do was pretty fair, it's just something I wouldn't try to do with you, on top of being irrelevant this game because I'm town.

It certainly seems like damo was a whip at end of day and took on that identity pretty late. But would scum damo use his usual shtick that there was no bussers and really rest on the hope that mafia goon will is gonna be mafia teams deep threat?

That seems really bad play for someone as good as being scum as damo so if it is damo his goal would be the one to go deep at any cost

That was M84, but in M83, Just was voting for sweetandcool when sweetandcool was shot D1, and ghug had also suspected sweetandcool. However, Just and ghug seem rather confident in their ability to identify sweetandcool as mafia based on D1 of M83, and that have yet to respond to my request to identify the criteria they are using to identify scum sweetandcool.

I think that slightly undersells my suspicion of sweet in that game. I came out of his shooting looking so good that his teammate shot me later in the day.

But anyway, it's really just vibes. He said something that felt slimy and fake, which is the same thing he did in M83 and the same thing I probably overindexed on when I bussed him in M84. I responded to the post that pinged me this game, though he hasn't done much of anything since.

Sorry I've been gone for a while, had an uncharacteristically busy day yesterday. Managed to mostly keep on top of reading but wasn't able to react at all. I am going to spend my morning tea time looking over the game and coming up with some salient posts.

A quick unrefined reaction:

The scumreading of me came out of nowhere and is stupid and bizarre.

ghug has decided he knows my scumvibe after essentially one D1 success. Will is deluding himself yet again that his usual sheeping worked out, rather than any real success at reading me. brainbomb is scum reading me because I wasn't previously scumread this game, which he was right was uncharacteristic.

I wasn't using my normal technique this game, but it looks like there is a decent chance one of the three is Mafia and has decided I'm a soft target for D1 and targeted me randomly.

Why was that reaction impossible yesterday when you were reading?

In fact…within the last 19 hours of the day (until voting me) the only posts you directly interacted with me or mentioned me was regarding Jamie appearing to edit his post, and disagreeing with chaqa that I’d not fake a townslip. (And I guess the modkill joke)


Within the last 12 hours of the day you mostly said how much you sussed food and worried anout a couple others (but not sweet).

So yeah…I guess someone counting votes would have seen you say you liked any wagon available except chaqa and sweet. I was still putting you in the sussing sweet camp from an hour earlier in the day. I've just had a lightbulb moment. Jamie can't be scum. He would either have made the effort to be on at EOD or signalled to his teammates his anticipated absence (like Bozo did).

So I now think it's Bozo and Ham with a slight chance of deartgorob.

I will not even contemplate a sweet voter until these 3 are accounted for.
