so I think I really just wanted food to be scum this game. Sweet knows how to scum and he doesnt have to mention his teammates a lot. Or at all. So maybe its someone else.

i have things to think about but my rereads dont seem like food is bad in the context of knowing s&c was bad

With 53 minutes to go is the first time i pick up “sweet” For chaqa.

Can we assume that Bunny is townclear based on the logic that if it was between Scum!Bunny and Godfather!Sweet, Bunny would have been bussed hard?

Okay that sucks; I wanted to ask questions before posting my reads list and stuff. The important thing is that we need to stop dicking around and kill sweet. I'll post this part and hopefully that will be enough:

Damo is town probably based on their posts and my interactions with them in M85.

Sweet is really polarized and easy to read as scum, even without meta, which is mainly how I'm reading them now (without meta.) It's not that complicated at all to find them as scum.

The town block is Will-ghug-damo-frog, all town all on sweet!scum or throwing.

Frog was this a quote or your read? Have you played with sweet other than last game?

I’m enjoying Just’s engagement. I’d need to go back and reread to see if he’s SAID anything of consequence besides prodding and enthusiasm. I think he has. But not one word has stuck.

In other thoughts:

Ghug is wrong that I try to neg and needle him as scum. I try that when I can’t tell his alignment too. The game that recently comes to mind is when he was scum and sadly my strongest townread until late. But late in the game I started nudging him.


Jamie seems very town here. Might be my strongest townlean for now. He’s not angry, but also not scared or fronting.


Food has been all over in my mind.

HamB has been absent. This is weird. I expect when he finally rolls town, he’ll be so excited to play. Might worry he gets miskilled early? Does he lurk to avoid that? I’d expect him to jump in head first.


Froggy…I dunno. Never had to read him much last game since I got got early. He certainly seems more cautious. Maybe he knew last game would become mechanics?

Chaqa seems towny to me. But that’s based on knowing he enjoys scum and honestly believing he’s not having fun.

Sweet…hmm…why the hell is he voting me? I really don’t get it. That’s not necessarily scummy, but I haven’t understood his ramblings about it either.

And heart. Wherefor heart? Him standing up to froggy seems towny? I don’t think he’s easy to push around, but I think he’d be more likely to acquiesce to a request for reads rather than say “no”. Hmmm. Unless they’re both scum? That’s interesting….


Froggy-heart-lurker-and ghug? That’s a reasonable team guess? Will have to go read with that in mind later.

Ghug- I can’t say whether or not Bunny is doing this, but personally I haven’t noticed it.

Jamie- I am null on Jamie. I don’t understand why Bunny thinks he is so town. He has markedly less participation than two games ago (I didn’t pay attention to last game cuz I got murked), but that may be because no one has argued with him

Food- I think food is town. He seems to be playing a similar way to his last (town) game, but not in a way that feels intentional, like Frog

Hamilton- I have seen Hamilton around, but he hasn’t given me much to go on. Idk what this means, but I want to remember it

Froggggg- Am not certain of his mafia-ness. Could be completely wrong. Heard it here first, I am probably going to switch my vote.

Chaqa- Chaqa is null. He has done town things and scum things that cancel each other out.

Sweet- as Bunny said, his scumtell: “If I want to throttle sweet through the screen, he’s town”

Heart- no opinion on heart. Barely even noticed he was here. Maybe lurking? (I think i’m using that term right)

It’s interesting that bunny and will both totally read sweets soul. It’s not well quoted here but i assume will is referring to one of bunny’s first posts where he says sweets bad attitude makes him town. Crazy. Well done. I also noticed Sweet was way easier to get along with this game but i chalked that up to us understanding each other better after bashing heads a bit last game.

Regarding Brain, I need to dig into it more but my logic was: kind of get where Brain is working from, and without much more information to go on, drop the vote on Bunny vs Sweet. Does it change my feeling on Brain? I don't know; I'd say I am a bit more suspect, but then they didn't go with their initial statements of scum, so... Consider me a bit conflicted.

Wouldn't that make it easier to keep track?

No. Scum is a mostly emotionless effort to to give town a good hunt en route to beating them, so it's easier to remember the rare town moments and augment then with misascribed memories of scum moments. I'm betting if you looked at the game after I bussed sweet, I either commented on or thought about commenting on something he did that reminded me of the other times I voted for him day one, and inadvertantly solidified a belief that it's a pattern in my mind.

None of this is helpful to you, of course. I think you jumping on this is weird but my gut also says sweet is scum.

Heck i guess ghug does it too. Poor sweet.

I think bunny's scum equity has gone down, but it's not that simple. It depends on where the votes were before the end, people's expressed opinions on both of them, how likely you think either is to turn it around, and whether mafia was even casting a deciding vote. If they're both scum, they only have one other teammate.

I've actually started off looking at bunny again (I am going to look at ghug, Will, brainbomb, and Food, hopefully I have the time).

I thought maybe my scumreading him and voting him based on his first post was harsh, but the more I look at him the more he looks bad.

Bunny's first post seemed insincere because he threw in an obligatory degradation of Will and sweetandcool, when we hadn't done anything yet to warrant it.

His first post of page 3 he decides to townread me, because I mentioned I'm grumpy about life. I still couldn't have possibly done something to make him frustrated with me, and he even references that he needs a better way to read me. Again, this is clearly Bunny saying things he has said in past games, but he has no reason to make those comments.

Third post of page 3 is interesting if Bunny is scum. Could he be teammates with brainbomb?

First post of page 4, maybe it's a casual post or maybe it's a way to spread some stink on me. Bunny seems to want to town me and scum me at the same time.

Last post of page 8 actually makes me mad now that I'm rereading it. Is scum Bunny trying to make us look like teammates?! I'm really not liking his interactions with me (I wasn't planning on cherrypicking his posts that refer to me, but those are the ones that keep pinging me the most).

2nd post of page 9, he agrees with brainbomb and continues to negatively comment on Food. There have been a few posts about Food that don't ping me, but it's interesting how he seems to be buddying brainbomb. Is brainbomb town or are they being obvious partners to the point that we can't think they are partners? Or is it a bus on Food? I haven't felt bad about Food but I do worry about potential pocketing. Food's been too easygoing with me, and it makes me wary.

Several posts later: Jeeze, Bunny become fixated on brainbomb. Not towning or scumming brainbomb really, just mentioning the hell out of him.

Okay, at this point I've concluded Bunny is probably scum. He is currently gunning for Food. Bus or MK?

I was planning on saving Food for last, but I think I'll look at him next. Then onto my accusers.

The fact that sweet went to these lengths about Bunny (when Bunny and I were tied as lead wagons at 3) makes me think Bunny is much more likely town and sweet was laying the groundwork to justify getting on the wagon.

Not a great look for ME i guess but hey that’s life

1. Happy that we got scum.
2. Mildly surprised as I was not specifically scumkreading S&C and I'll need to go back and understand why his wagon took the lead.
3. Keen for Bozo to stop ignoring me.
4. I still townread Brain and Chaqa
5. I still have suspicions about Frogster.

I didn't really feel he was town, but I felt the case on him was very forced and seemed weak, so I was not willing to vote him. In the end I prioritized saving Bunny since I townread him.

I don't understand why the wagons are how they are. Bunny and Will seem like extremely good candidates. Why are people being hung up on others? Like I understand some of the paranoia, but it seems pretty clear who we should be voting for here.

Bunch of anti-Will rage at the end and overall I’d say yup A Town Named Will was correct, Bunny was also highly pushed through the end, I don’t exactly see any wacky team situation here where scum!Will accidentally got a train going on sweet. There really was no other wagon for him to push at this point but if Bunny, or I would argue myself, were on his team it feels like he would’ve trumped something up back at T-2.

For the record, that was last game I said that. I also said I intended to find at least a better way to say it. I don't like that as a tell. It leads to things like Jamie being performative angry. I don't want that, and I don't intend to use it going forward.
