Ghug was focusing and responding to certain posts and not others. The posts he was responding to were less game oriented, and more easy picking/attention getting oriented.
This is more likely scum!ghug.
The really funny thing about this: scum!ghug is gonna be pissed as fuck because he'll disagree both with my assessment of how he was posting AND what it means even if he was doing it. Then he'll HATE getting called out for something he doesn't think is a good reason to get caught.
He'll then go overly hard to buddy up, and try and get me to stop what he thinks is a stupid reason to read him. He'll think he can charm me into doubting my read.

Helping town is scummy. We should all be as unhelpful as possible.foodcoats wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 4:20 pmMy main counter argument to “town will” right now is basically WIFOM (“He’s acting town because he’s scum”) and I don’t think that’s good reasoning without some other supporting evidence.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 3:57 pm@food
I appreciate you giving me the benefit of the doubt, but you shouldn’t
But yes, after reading ABOVE post, I don’t remember brain ever giving an explanation on why my confidence was so unwarranted other than speculation, and he also never gave an explanation on why I was so “different” from last game?
And yes, it is most curious brain is voting for his lesser scumreads (lesser by volume, at least; maybe he has some grand compelling argument he can share that he has until now hidden). I can’t help but wonder if there is some bussing going on (of scum!Chaqa/bunny by scum!brain - or rather it might be called the setup for bussing votes) but that is extremely speculative on D1.
Re: Mafia 86: Accidents Happen... - Game Thread
given time honored tradition, I am actually very certain what im supposed to be doing this game.
D1 bukkake-parade on chaqas' corpse. LETS GO
##vote chaqa.

Perfectly on cue too! But yes, I love to sheep. 13 heads are better than 1!sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 4:20 pmSorry I've been gone for a while, had an uncharacteristically busy day yesterday. Managed to mostly keep on top of reading but wasn't able to react at all. I am going to spend my morning tea time looking over the game and coming up with some salient posts.
A quick unrefined reaction:
The scumreading of me came out of nowhere and is stupid and bizarre.
ghug has decided he knows my scumvibe after essentially one D1 success. Will is deluding himself yet again that his usual sheeping worked out, rather than any real success at reading me. brainbomb is scum reading me because I wasn't previously scumread this game, which he was right was uncharacteristic.
I wasn't using my normal technique this game, but it looks like there is a decent chance one of the three is Mafia and has decided I'm a soft target for D1 and targeted me randomly.

ghug pretending chaqa is ever normal.

I was not sheeping? I thought I was the first vote on you? If not, the second. That doesn’t fit my definition of sheeping.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 4:24 pmPerfectly on cue too! But yes, I love to sheep. 13 heads are better than 1!sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 4:20 pm

Does scum chaqa fake this outrage to flip my read and why
Does town chaqa really feel like my minimalist scumread was gonna be some long drawn out toxic event like it used to be?
Does scum chaqa just not want to be scum this game and crumbled under the barest most simplistic of pressure
yes
he dont care
hes right in that he's hard to meta because he just emotional like that.
still. choo-choo, fun time.

No, uncharacteristically you don't seem to be your usual sheeping self this game (though I can't help thinking brainbomb and ghug scum reading me influenced your decision to pounce). I meant that your past successful sheeping has made you decide that you're an expert at reading me.
I'm getting serious vibes of bunny's scumtell bullshit from last game

foodcoats can be in the camp of this dude might very well be townfoodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 12:41 pmThis feels like a very townie post from sweet. Both perceptive and critical of brain’s position, and willing to accept criticism and not overly fight back against the scumreading. Nuanced and broad in the way that is more natural to town. I think that makes it worth townleaning sweet.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 3:58 amSays the guy not voting Bunny to the guy actually voting Bunny.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 2:04 am
This is also called hedging.
Holding both sides of a stance as being valid in order to mask knowing too much information.
it is also possible to just not know. Maybe youre not scum with bunny. Maybe bunny is just bunny. In fact yea he probably is. Town. Yes maybe sweet is also town.
See.
What I did.
But okay, I guess you are right that people would view that as hedging. That really explains previous instances where I was scumread for behaving this way. I've never understood it until now because it never crossed my mind that I could be considered as hedging.

Well I am certain I am not the only one who has been influenced by another’s argument. I make my own, I listen to others, I make an informed decision.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 4:36 pmI actually wrote something about that and deleted it because it was written poorly.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 4:30 pmI was not sheeping? I never claimed to be an expert. If you aren’t mafia, then your tell doesn’t apply.
Re: Mafia 86: Accidents Happen... - Game Thread
this is literally what bunny predicted ghug would do
I mean, ive said it before, bosox, chaqa and ghug are basically the same person.

I think if scum!ghug votes chaqa for the tantrum there is fear that town will pile on and ghug has to make up a reason to unvote, so they go fish for limbait instead once one appears?ghug wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:57 pm##VOTE sweetandcoolsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:20 pm
Okay but to be fair, Frog did similar posts last game, did he not?
He does seem slightly different this game, not necessarily in a bad way. I have him as null.
My gut hasn't failed me yet.
