Wasn’t the team that game Just-worcej-ghug-sweet? Didn’t they all bus each other like mad? Where’s Jamie to yell at them thst this doesn’t count?

That was M84, but in M83, Just was voting for sweetandcool when sweetandcool was shot D1, and ghug had also suspected sweetandcool. However, Just and ghug seem rather confident in their ability to identify sweetandcool as mafia based on D1 of M83, and that have yet to respond to my request to identify the criteria they are using to identify scum sweetandcool.

What is the criteria for suspecting sweetandcool? As far as I know, you have each only had the opportunity to correctly scum read him once.

A word of advice: I think you should look more for town and less for scum.

That’s an interesting theory. I think it also works with chaqa town and brainbomb instigating.

I wonder why food doesn’t ##vote brainbomb when brain has also been nudging food.

The main reason I think they are more likely both scum is that Chaqa’s defense and following play after that fight do not at all appear to be townie, nor is it remotely reasonable to think Chaqa is unable to launch an ATE or threaten to sub out as scum. Brain even highlighted it himself: Chaqa has a very wide range. However, the “meta key” that is most interesting to me isn’t “scum!Chaqa could do this,” it’s “town!brain knows scum!Chaqa could do this, but brain accepted the ATE and has not launched a follow-up attack regarding Chaqa’s fading from the thread once the ATE was accepted.” This is an unusual tack from brain.

And now that I’ve written it out, I see how on balance brain is more likely than Chaqa to be scum in that scenario.

Well, the reason I voted for Chaqa is because I like to see bigger wagons competing earlier in the game, and there are several people who seemed willing to vote Chaqa, whereas a brain wagon doesn’t seem likely at this time. But since you’ve corrected my thinking, I will:

I will come back to the first part as I’m going to do some more in-depth re-reading this morning, but an ATE is an Appeal To Emotion. Sorry - I thought that was pretty common “mafia parlance.”

I don't think I was considering you as scum. I thought I was responding to what Will's wall was; I think they're playing differently and not in a good way. Not you.

@food I would not manipulate someone in that way. I think several people here can attest to that. There was an incident with Flum a few years ago that was very unpleasant where I was on the receiving end of an "ATE"

Generally speaking I’ve both been on your scumteam and been massively fooled by you (there was a game where you and kgray powerwolfed town to death that I recall with great pain for my level of being-taken-in) and I’ve seen you to be very good - charming, strategic, too-scum-to-be-scum, boundary-pushing - as scum so I wouldn’t put anything past you.

But, my main point, again, was that I find it weird brain didn’t push you on it, as I didn’t find your defense compelling (even if I didn’t find brain’s original push on you compelling, either), and I’m surprised brain would leave off there, as he will often dog-with-bone even when his logic has been demonstrated to be flawed.

See, the more I talk about it, the more it seems Bunny was right that you could be town while brain is scum… although I must needs re-read and be sure I’m not OMGUSing brain for scumming me and this is all TvTvT.

Froggys question about checking the +1 is quite weird after the stink several people made about me doing it last game.

He seems too sharp to have not noticed and remembered that. Seems like something he’d remember. Here it seems like something to mention to look like you’re hunting. Also, last game he DIDNT mention it. Sooooo different already.

I'm a fan of this development (Bunny sharing his innermost thoughts with the world instead of just the gods). Hope he doesn't fulfill the threat he made to quiet down
