Well honestly it’s just a vibe I got after seeing someone else point it out, but the “Give me reads on 5 players” was really sus.

This makes me think that Frog was trying to get Chaqa to say someone was mafia-leaning to make Chaqa an outsider to that person. Bonus points if more than one!

Usually I really hate this kind of arbitrary speculation from others but I actually think I could be right about this.

I didn't find that Frog post to be too different from what I read from him last game. He fires off reads quick and early and requests the same of others - I think that feels consistent. What I actually think has been a change is that he hasn't posted townreads of as many people yet this time as he did last time. Not that I'm complaining. But I wonder what's stayed his hand so far this game?

That's funny because I thought he was a little different. Can't put my finger on it, but he is not bothering me as much.

I think his Town play is actually incredibly easy to copy as Mafia, so I'm annoyed by Heart towning him for just playing how he did last game (pretty sure Heart towned him last game for the exact same reasons).

What? I haven't towned Frog yet. I think I made a bit of a point of not towning anyone yet.

Q: What do you look for when you ask for others to list reads at this early stage?

I almost always intend to follow up with another question afterwards so I'm going to take their different responses in context of each other. I look at whether someone seems paranoid (indicating a lack of TMI), entitled in a townie way (they know truth is on their side), whether they have too much or too little scope in their reads for what has actually been posted in the thread and I guess I want to get an idea of what they're planning, like how they intend to try to win the game.

Yeah I am trying to be more accurate this game because I noticed I trusted scum a little too easily in the last game.

There is no way a reasonable player, who has been absent, enters the game and in their first post accuses someone else of not posting.
