@Heartthrob, is BK3B tone and activity level they've shown here on-brand for them as town? Is there anything else I should know about them?

So far yes I think so. In fact he is the only player that I would say I townlean atm.

Here's why:
- I think BK3K really loves solving puzzles and getting them right. Most of us probably feel similar, and enjoy the feeling of being in control of all of the different pieces and aligning them to find the solution.
- He tends to approach mafia games pretty eagerly and often has creative ideas about mechanics or crumbing. In the past he has delighted in being "wily" and winning a game as scum. I think his thought process tends to be logic-driven.
- He also lets his emotion show through in his posts. For example, when he disagrees with a player, he won't shy away from arguing with them. He will also explicitly express when he's frustrated with an individual player.
- BK3K's frustration with the current state of the game -- feeling overwhelmed by the amount of posts, asking others to solve the mechanic for him -- indicates to me a lack of control over his situation that he would most likely be feeling were he town.

- That being said, at work we made the mistake of underestimating his wiliness... though he was mostly townread there for asking mechanic-related Qs that a scum player would know the answer to. He was pretty cool, calm, and collected all game and I've only seen him get aggravated as town. If this is a mafia strategy for him then it's a new one and it's a good one.

That's very helpful, that makes me think the wagon cross EoD1 was TvT.

Wait a minute:

Why did there happen to be a discrep with the bot and our final numbers?

Looking at the final vote count that Monarch posted, lfischl is on Just but the bot shows their vote on BK3K. What's up with that?

JustAGuyNamedWill (7) Diplomacy&Warfare, foodcoats, bozotheclown, Hamilton Brian, brainbomb, babyspice666, lfischl
BK3K (5) Frogsterking, BobMcBob, Kakarroto, JustAGuyNamedWill
sweetandcool (2) damo666, BunnyGo
lfischl (3) Chaqa, heartthrob24909, Jamiet99uk
Kakarroto (1) Nephthys
Diplomacy&Warfare (1) BK3K
Frogsterking (1) sweetandcool
Chaqa (1) worcej
Where are you going with this?
The bot was messed up and still said it was 6-6 but monarch counted my and jaime's vote switches

From the Maf Qt

BK3k: Okay I think brain might be the cop, and worcej is probably the doctor

Jamie: No. Everyone has no idea what their role is. It is very specific.

Bk3k: But they might be those roles

Jamie: Utter rubbish. absolute poppycock. Complete bullshit.

Damo: Jamie keep fighting with brain and find something to get under his skin about.

Jamie: Utter rubbish, brainbomb isnt real. He is just an AI generated by elon musk.

Bk3k: Who should we kill

Jamie: Utter rubbish. the idea that we should kill someone is absolute bullshit and complete poppycock

From the Maf Qt

Frog: Ive been in 137 mafia games and its perfectly normal to chaqa it up

Chaqa: Chaqa it up to what?

Bozo: We should conduct a survey among the mafia team to determine what extent one can actually chaqa it up.

Kak: It is possible to be someones roomate, work on a camaro and chaqa it up pretty heavily

Frog: In the 137 mafia games ive been in no one has ever repaired my power steering column quite like chaqa

That's where I am at.

Also, it occurs to me that Bunny is a cruel sadist (or at least they practice their sadism on me). This is the 2nd game in a row they make a claim about my alignment, purporting strong evidence without actually providing it and making me sweat for no reason.

I get not wanting to reveal my "tell" for future use, but at least come up with a tangible reason to scumread me.

For clarity's sake I'm not doing that yet. But I'm currently choosing to take that as matter of faith. Definitely makes the game easier if I treat you as town.

In browsing earlier games this past week I realized I tended to scumread lfischl and usually end up being wrong. I think it was low-posting that got me into that thought-cycle. I'll try to not go that way this game.
do you think lfischl posted low?

JustAGuyNamedWill (7)
Diplomacy&Warfare* foodcoats bozotheclown Hamilton Brian brainbomb babyspice666, lfischl

D&W is a new player who contributed minimally day 1. This is a prime candidate for possible scum.

foodcoats was a vocal town leader who had reasons for suspecting Justaguy and food is the least likely to be scum of these voters imo.

bozo was a possible scum day 1 but overall my scumread on them is just guessing they randed that way. Being part of this elim does not radically increase anything for me to beleive hes mafia.

Hamilton had some decent posts and yet didnt do a lot. being part of a town death does not help hamilton here and only increases scum
possibility.

brain- I was part of this death and it wasnt in my top 5 or 6 scumreads. I mostly joined this out of curiousity but killing a town here should by no means be a good look for me

babyspice is someone new who barely played. the fact they ended up here will require alot of explanation given the severe lack of involvement so far

lfischl ending up here does not help their town status. however he was widely scumread and was a wagon d1. lfischl had no reason to help break the tie here if he was mafia so this actually helps my opinion of him a little

in sum I think at least one scum was on here and its possibly a new player or its just hamilton

Of particular note is that Jamie effort to ensure no ties was to vote lfischl which implies he just fundamentally couldnt vote justaguy.

Maybe Jamiet was trying out my method and legitimately forgot that Will wasn't his teammate.

People who voted BK3K with me (including Jamie), why did you join that wagon? Interested to get people's reasoning.

5 Brainbomb

6 BunnyGo

7 Chaqa

8 Damo666

targets

9 Diplomacy&Warfare

targets

10 foodcoats

11 Frogsterking

12 Hamilton Brian

13 heartthrob24909

14 Jamiet99uk

15 Kakarroto

16 lfischl

17 Nephthys

18 sweetandcool

19 Worcej

targets

1 babyspice666

targets

2 BK3K

targets

3 BobMcBob

targets

4 Bozotheclown
------------

Okay? Is that right, and are we clear?
This is doubly wrong.

Firstly 4 determines the gap not the start point which achieved fuck all. So 4 means 10 targets 6 if up and 14 if down.

Secondly not up to Jamie to choose up down but nominate a person so to choose.

This gives a four person ladder and adequate protection against scum manipulation.
If this is what we are going with I believe we still need Jamie to choose a player to select up or down.

Sweet's wagon analysis for some reason I'm not sure i found much tbh. I find it interesting that food moved off it to me with no explanation (waiting to hear back on that). If he'd moved 2 minutes earlier, it would have meant me and sweet were tied on votes.

Then Jamie moved off to make fisch the lead wagon referencing a post fisch had made 15 hours earlier and appealing to brain's vote.

Fisch moved to sweet possibly for self-preservation reasons, there was an easy thing to latch onto as well with the (still unrevealed) "scumtell".

Frogster seemed to vote sweet most because it looked like BK wasn't going to happen for a bit then moved back almost immediately.

Why did I analyse this? I really don't know, it's not like we know sweet's role. I think the most interesting things here are food's vote movement and the fact that fisch (probably?) felt the need to save himself.
