well, I think I feel good enough if it is randomized by different players.

I suggest brain and jamie for this; one choosing, say, five option, the other picking one of these options. Would anyone have a problem with that? Or would anyone prefer bozo's random lottery choice?
are we actually going to do the everyone does a different target strategy?
Does the mafia being able or not being able to target each other affect your opinion on if this is a good idea? The setup does not say they can't.
If mafia can't target each other I think it's honestly worse, because then if the town PRs who reveal the targets are on a mafia, it's super obvious and I just think that isn't fun. I'd rather we go through the process and figure it out rather than using an organized mechanic or something.

I thought he just meant 5 lists.
5 lists of what?

19 people have to enter orders.

I still don't understand the proposal.
I thought 5 lists with 19 players on each list, but maybe I misunderstood.
##Call Kak

Could you clarify please?

Something like that is fine with me.
I don't understand the mechanism Kak is describing.

Does he mean that for each player, Brainbomb would select 5 possible targets, thus 95 total selections from which I would pick 19?
Nah, I was thinking one of you (lets say brain since you picked brain here) makes 5 different lists of all 20 (or rather 19 after today?) participants (either by typing the names in order or saying how he would like, for example ordered 'by age' or ordered 'by longitude', and from these 5 lists, the other (lets say you since you picked brain before) decides, which of these different ordered lists to pick from.

Then we use the 'the next one' in the list as our target.

That is, if we actually do this. But with that it should be at least guaranteed to be so much randomized by town that even if one of you two is mafia, that the order of mafia isn't an advantage and even if bozo is mafia didn't suggest it to exploit something he noticed from the list MadMonarch posted.

Furthermore, bozo was more involved in non-mech talk last game, and he is absent without a good reason (or at least one I’ve seen). He seems to be doing this intentionally.
So...

Bozo is scum in your eyes for not getting into mech talk early on.
(He posted about mechs in his first post)

Bozo is scum in your eyes for not talking enough about non-mech things.
(This contradicts your first argument, even though your first argument was wrong).
Both of these points I made constitute an argument: I don’t like that he is absent and not talking in general
I posted when I was available, and I did not see much response to what I was suggesting until recently.

This seems like a fabrication, I have always had my status hidden for non-mafia game reasons.
Dunno. Maybe someone else. But this does not discredit my argument previously mentioned, although it does make me rethink bozo’s absence

@fishy why do you think I'm voting sweet?

@bozo do you have any non-mech thoughts to share?

No, because when I thought I saw it, I thought nothing of it. But once I started thinking about why bozo is scummy, I “remembered” that and thought it was suspicious

maybe, maybe not. We have (at least a bit of) the night to discuss this further
ah ok. I think it removes some of the fun of the setup but if people want to do it ig it's fine.

Also I just realized I haven't voted so I'm gonna ##vote BK3K as a placeholder
Yeah, I know. But if the majority values efficiency over (lets call it) "free PR action fun", why should I try to take their fun away?

So far though I'm not convinced we should do this after D2 going on, so maybe we can have some compromise of 'N1 we do to get info, but after that lets have fun with the info advantage we gained and every PR for themselves', who knows.

Most of the time. I like to know of people who read and don’t post. I don’t usually click the “Who is online” tab, but I check the little names at the bottom.

Well...pondering Just right now.

I find him to be "wrong" (IMHO, but obviously he's thinking in complete and coherent ways) a lot. But this statement about bozo is a different way of being wrong.

Trying to decide how he would get to it as town. Or as scum.

Besides that, hoping babyspice shows up a bit.

pondering why you were so wrong about what worcej wrote despite several people telling you.

The mafia not being able to target each other would be a significant disadvantage for the mafia, so I assume that is not the case.

I understand what you are saying about how the quality of the game may be affected, but this is the game we are in.

Right, I see - so it's like an alphabetised list, but randomised.

Okay. I don't mind this option.
