For those new to the brain-jamie conflict (and maybe to remind the participants as well):

Jamie is a solicitor (or legal scholar or something like that) who likes his cases laid out with facts, and logic, and step by step clauses.

Brain is an actor. Who enjoys feeling on different cloaks, possibilities, characters and whatnot. He enjoys making cases by trying them on and seeing how the scum!player or town!player feels to him.

I scum-read Frog because the town-reads came too EASILY, and appear fraudulent on reread. Many of them are blanket phrases like "I think Neph is +town" or "hmm brain is T O W N".

I dont really care if thats what he professed he was GOING to do to establish a POE.

I think the ESTABLISHMENT of those reads is too easy, too rapid and too devoid of any real explanation. they are exactly the sort of reads a scum makes to pocket people and then later when those individuals are in danger, that person will just say nothing or will pivot to get someone killed.

I am even more alarmed by Frogs total lack of scum reads. He admits on one page he doesn't have enough scum-reads, then makes a case about Heart being mafia, but still to this point has never done anything else to identify mafia, he hasn't voted for anyone, and hasn't pushed anything whatsoever.

Jamie, YOU are the one clogging up the thread with misrepresentations. This is twice now you've triedd to use the thread as a platform to assume things about my logic and trash it in front of people to suit your own view of things.

My view of things is that Frog strikes me as probably town.

So after N1, we could sort everyone by the response they receive and identify the roleblockers and use N2 to sort the players obscured by the roleblockers and identify the mailman, then we should have a good idea what bins the mafia are in. With the additional information we get from the PR results, we should have some town clears and very narrow mafia pools.

At a glance this looks like good work.
I like it.

I was also wondering if revealaing our results, or at least something about them collectively was a good idea. hadn't baked that thought yet.

like last game, bozo's mech thoughts make me town read him. maybe i'm biased because i much prefer logic puzzles over 'reading the tone' meta game puzzle

Okay, now I've embarassed myself even more with that crosspost lol. Chaqa's entrance did feel a little weird, but I had put that down to poor execution rather than scumminess.

Fisch I thought felt the need to respond to direct questions from frogster, which feels like something he would do. He hasn't pinged me as scum!fisch with his responses, and he definitely does lurk as scum.

Every time i post, it jumps me to the end, and I saw someone call out frog for not having scum reads. this conflicts with that.

Also, I saw frog trying to tell me what to do, and I don't even know them yet. I'd prefer a hello first, and an understanding that I have a life outside this.
