@Bunnygo what do you mean "sovereign citizen"?
There’s an impressively stupid thing going around the inter webs and getting people in trouble when they think law is a bunch of magical incantations.
Has this not made it to GB? It’s in Canada too. Partially started there according to ChatGPT

@Just: why did you upvote post #564 and then un-upvote it?

Okay it's getting late here, which means it's reads list time!
Brain - I like brain quite a bit here, I think he's probably town
Jamie - Has spent a lot of time derailing the thread but that's not unusual. A few things he said have felt a bit off but still within normal Jamie weirdness range. Scumlean.
Frogster - I think frogster is very cool, although I'm not totally convinced he's town. I'm feeling some good scum player vibes.
Will - I haven't developed much of a read on Will tbh. I think food's case on him is... fine? But I don't love it. I could see it being a townie just having their words twisted.
Kak - Again, Kak doesn't feel as fun this game as he sometimes does. But the game I played with fun Kak was apparently one where he was scum . Townlean for Kak.
sweet - I've liked sweet's posts for the most part, although looking back a lot of it is filler, and his vote right now is not amazing. Scumlean.
Worcej - I did a double take seeing worcej next on the list of posters. He has said absolutely nothing of substance so far. I can't remember if worcej is the kind to coast D1 normally, but I don't like it.
Food - I also like food's questions and analysis for the most part, seems proactive. The focus on lfischl is strange but I can't think what it would mean. Seems towny.
Neph - I think I like Neph so far, mostly on vibes. Kak vote is a little weak. Townlean.
BK3K - Another notably useless player so far. Everything has just been clogging the thread and it feels like he should know at least a little better. Scumlean.
lfischl - Like I said feels pretty standard for fisch and hasn't done a lot to make me think one alignment or another. The discourse surrounding him has been far more interesting than anything he's done. I could see fisch going either way.

HamB seems relatively normal but I'm not getting much. Heart I've also barely got anything on. Bozo reads like normal "please talk about massclaims D1 bozo". Chaqa tells us how much he doesn't care a lot, but in an oddly subdued way. Damo, dip and baby are just nothing at the moment.

Hi bunny, I think I like your big post. i definitely like your +1s.

@food as for why sweet? I think he has a tell. It’s a stupid tell. I’m ashamed of thinking of it. I hope he fixes it if correct.

He has made 1-2 posts that gave me pause and wonder if he’s town. In particular:

Post 603 is the first time I thought he made a towny post.

But he quickly undid it.

I don’t recognize your maritime court of admiralty and I don’t grant you authority. I’m a natural human and a free and sovereign citizen who has entered no contract with you nor your corporation.
Oh god, those "Freeman on the land" nutjobs?

As an actual law scholar I am aware of them, unfortunately. It's actually a bit sad, really, because there are some con artists out there who seem to be able to make money out of these gullible idiots.

I was hoping you were making reference to something within the game, like a detail of the flavour I had not noticed, or something.

No, was just me being silly.

I figured you must be aware of them.

I’m gonna try to check in periodically throughout the day, but I’ll be most active again in the last hour of the phase. Sorry, weekends are busy. I’m on page 20something.

For now,
##vote Bob McBob

At this early stage (and unfortunate disclaimer that I’m not fully caught up) what stands out to me the most is how many different conversations/arguments revolved around lfischl due to what was for me, at the time, not a whole lot to go on (granted idrk him but I think we were mafia togeth when I played a year ago).

I find Bob McBob and Just McWill’s inconsistency in their early reads re lfischl to be kinda eyebrow raising but I feel more comfortable casting a vote for Bob since I think I’ll have an easing time reading Just further down the line.

It seems to me that we could match up everyone with a role or get it down to a 50/50 with a mafia counterpart by N3 if we coordinate our night targets.

##Vote BK3K please stop filling the thread with hot air and give me some actual townreads or scumreads. Even if they suck and are based on nothing, it's helpful for giving us an idea of your thoughts later.

is this based on the expectation that he is town and hes just gonna totally ball out and become mega bozo later?

or is this based on what youve seen from him so far, and thats indicating something brilliant is yet to come?
Did you mean to say something, Damo?
Was on phone. Quote screwed. It's there in the middle. Appears out of sequence.

Wait, walk me through this?

1) People talked about officious way too much

2) Bob and Just kept changing minds about officiousness' minimal posts.

ergo Bob is your vote?

I'm literally making bread now!

Umm....had to happen eventually, and I have a busy Sunday driving kids around and doing chores so at least wanted to get my initial thoughts out while everyone had a chance to see them.

I was trying to wait to be last to post but Emma Bunton forced my hand.

Agreed.

Reasonably happy with any of the top 4 wagons although I think it a shame if frog is boiled day 1 as a seemingly experienced newb.

@Bunny care to share re mechs or is it essential to wait until night?

Btw I think Bunny likely town and I think he may be right re sweet's tell.

thoughts at the end of page 20:

I think Will, Kak, and Food feel townie to me, just cuz of the way that they post.

Jamie I'm unsure of. the other two games, I've seen aggression on D1 so that feels normal, but something to be watched.

The Heart and Neph thing with the mechanics talk and pointing fingers should also be monitored.

Frog i think is town, but I have a personal distaste for the tone in a lot of his posts. I'll try to check that at the door tho

brain is posing a lot and i have a small brain myself, so I'm confused and don't have an opinion here yet.

chaqa's entry posts were actually funny, and anyone reading into them are either 1) taking themselves wayyy tooo seriously or 2) trying to sow confusion
