Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
That was a long game.
And I definitely made a silly choice riding my bike to my friends house lol, I had to ride back in like 15 degree weather lol

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
I meant to reply to that saying that there’s six days between those two things but I somehow sent it immediately lol
Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
Why don’t we skip to that point now? All agree if he hit town first up we lose?

So what did you learn from voting fisch? What are you currently learning with your vote still there?BobMcBob wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:16 amOut of everybody in the game, I feel like fisch is most likely to provide an interesting response to being voted. Looking through his posts... not really. He notably didn't get very defensive about it though, which I have seen him do before, and was the main thing I was probing for.foodcoats wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 5:03 pmBob, you made a couple statements that suggested you town-read lfischl (pasted below). Why did you vote for lfischl?

Okay, now I've embarassed myself even more with that crosspost lol. Chaqa's entrance did feel a little weird, but I had put that down to poor execution rather than scumminess.
Fisch I thought felt the need to respond to direct questions from frogster, which feels like something he would do. He hasn't pinged me as scum!fisch with his responses, and he definitely does lurk as scum.

Hello. It seems I have some catching up to do and there is now a wagon on Frogsterking. I see Brainbomb is hammering him. This is interesting. Allow me an hour or two and I'll catch up.

At a glance this looks like good work.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:03 amSo after N1, we could sort everyone by the response they receive and identify the roleblockers and use N2 to sort the players obscured by the roleblockers and identify the mailman, then we should have a good idea what bins the mafia are in. With the additional information we get from the PR results, we should have some town clears and very narrow mafia pools.
I like it.

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
Absolutely nothing at the moment, but it doesn't need to be moved yet. I hate the other question though because it forces me to go back over past games and admit that my memories of players aren't quite as clear as I'd like. The only games I saw lfischl being defensive D1 were both town games, although he was being pushed harder in both instances. It's not much to go off tbh.foodcoats wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 11:49 amSo what did you learn from voting fisch? Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
For me one of the fun elements of this setup is trying to work out what role I am, so that I can hopefully use my powers for good.BobMcBob wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:39 amCorrect me if I'm wrong, but the main gimmick of this setup is that nobody knows what they are. I have a suspicion that this may have been to directly combat mech clears while still having a lot of silly roles. Also I just don't like D1 mechs discussion. Mostly that.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:30 amI thought you helped come up with the idea for this game. Why do you think in a game where every player is a PR that we should not try to use that to our advantage?
Don't you hope to find out your role, Bob?
