I thought the game began sat at 9 ET, I spent the evening at the hospital with my wife as we are expecting our son to come into the world any day now. instead we were told everything is fine, but he isnt coming today, maybe next week. So when I logged into webdip I was quite surprised to see that 9ET on the game page is actually friday at whatever time this started lol. so yes, a dozen pages in, I am surprised I am top poster after missing the first 7 pages

Does scum Jamiet latch onto easy things any more than town Jamiet? I feel like I'd have done something by now that would be easy pickings.brainbomb wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 6:56 amthis game is unique in that the town PR who are important dont know that they are even important, which is why I would be more sus of someone like Jamie here, or someone like Chaqa here who knows their role, and if it is town they know there really is a slim chance they are someone important. I dont think either of them played normally with that possibility in mind. I think they have both played as if they need to "do" some posts to look active as opposed to really getting invested.
And really why in gods name would any of us get a normal role PM, and do anything other than get curious? invested? compelled?
Is that a fair criticism? I dont know that Jamie entry and vote come from a place of curiousity about who could be scum. I dont know that town chaqa takes this route where he has no idea what his role is, whereas scum chaqa maybe sees this as a chance to attempt a joke and messes it up.
or scum jamie just latches onto something because its easy
I think Jamiet was just here for launch of game. Lack of activity since then is not indicative of anything.

Although.. if he flips town This would turn v scummyNephthys wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 7:04 amI feel like these guys couldn't be scum together, this is waaay to blatant if Ifishl flips scumJustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 5:55 amOver the last 3 games, I’ve noticed that usually people who are scummy right out of the gate tend to just be unlucky and also victims of mafia manipulation. I don’t feel that lfishl should be suspicious just because of that.

So he was just here for the launch of the game - is better than just null? or what?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 7:15 amDoes scum Jamiet latch onto easy things any more than town Jamiet? if your best response is I dont think this means anything
they dont want anyone to think it means anything so youre already not thinking like the evil version of them

I dont even see where there is a joke there - or a a botched one. all I saw was a string of nervous energy posts that seemed like filling post

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
The joke he appeared to be trying to make was the "everything I say is a joke" paradox. I agree it was not his strongest "Hi I'm Chaqa and I don't care about D1" ever, but to me it came off as poorly written, not nervous. Maybe he was trying to make it less aggressive to avoid it standing out as much. It clearly didn't work though, we've spent like 10 posts talking about it now.
Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
I think sweetandcool seems reasonably towny for now. The jokes seemed relatively carefree, and his last post was a pretty good shift to actually being serious.

Look at this guy trying to pad out his post count to make it look like he's been active in the game.
