Lets think about the options for a second

A) Different roles
B) Both Town
C) Both Mafia


A)
As we've seen, this result just splits the town as they guess which one to take out. If we guess correctly, we get no clear as they will be insta-NK'd. If we guess wrong, we lose two days to it, where no real discussion goes on, while mafia rack up 3 kills.

In this instance, the guess right has AN upside, but the guess wrong is bad.

B)
Mafia have no incentive to kill either of the people as it will create a clear. Therefore, we eventually have to DK one, so we had to use our own brains to read all along. The partner also creates no clear as they will die immediately.

C)
Mafia CAN'T kill either of them, so to us, it looks exactly like the two town scenario. If we do eventually decide to neck one, we will get the other after as well, but its a long shot. There is little chance of this one occurring and smaller still for us to act on it.


There are sporadic upsides, but all in all, this seems unhelpful, a guiding hand to mafia, and a false lamp for the town to be following.



Now, why do I bring this up at all.

From my memory, Bozo proposed this plan and, when provided alternatives, ghug argued the benefits of the parity cop.

I think bozo should have been smart enough to notice this, and when ghug flip evil, perhaps you shoudl turn towards bozo (if you agree with my parity cop judgement).

Monarch's last posts are really giving scrambling town. I wish I hadn't missed this

To summarize my review of D2, after ghug bussed Hamilton early, ghug and Hamilton spent most of the day voting on town wagons and did not vote for each other until EOD. However, neither one ever voted for sweetandcool. It seems sweetandcool was their best chance to prevent them from being the DK and/or VT selection, so the question is why they did not vote for sweetandcool. I think the 2 most likely reasons are:

1. The other 2 mafia were already voting for sweetandcool.
2. sweetandcool is also mafia.

Considering the reasons I previously suspected sweetandcool and the fact that sweetandcool also spent most of D2 voting for town wagons, I think the answer is likely that sweetandcool is mafia.

If sweetandcool is mafia, then everyone was essentially voting or mafia all D2 except for ghug, Hamilton, sweetandcool, and heart. heart started and ending the day voting for ghug, but still spent 29 hours voting for Monarch along with ghug. First, it is odd that if heart was scum reading ghug that he would want to try to help him get Monarch DKed. Second, after voting for ghug for 15 hours to start D1, heart moved his vote to Monarch 15 minutes after ghug picked up a third vote (and potentially the first town vote, as sweetandcool was the other ghug voter at the time).

I suspect that going into D2 the mafia considered heart their best chance to win because ghug was going to be under suspicion if he was around at the end of the game after M84, so they decided heart should bus ghug during D2.

We also know for certain that for the last 46 minutes of D2, everyone left was voting for mafia except ghug and sweetandcool, so at least one mafia was already voting for ghug or Hamilton.

At 2:42 left D2, heart made his long post where he concluded ghug and Hamilton were his top scum reads. This is where I think he committed to bussing the remainder of D2.

Then, heart followed with his final vote:

The thing I thought was questionable about this was suspecting ghug for not moving his vote at EOD, because ghug did not post for the last 5 hours of D1, and there were 3 others of us who missed the last few hours of D1. However, ghug only questioned the other part:
