I really, really, really hate the darg wagon!

Can you explain why you felt this way at the time you made the post?

I didn't like it because my gut read on darg was town; what was being said about him to justify the vote felt weak and superficial.

I have some of my own pseudo science here.

I assume 1-3 scum were on the kak train. Let's call it 2

7 people were not on the train. One is kak and one is me, known town to me.

That would mean 2 of 5 of ghug, rdr, sweet, bozo, Hamilton are scum. Could be 1of 6 or 3 of 5 as well. I doubt all 4 scum were on kak, nor that none were. The other townies in my second group should be able to see this the same way as me

I'm a little behind but I'm going to vote from this pool. I see ghug has votes but I don't understand that yet. Bozo always seemed tired, and sweet send more and more town. So for now I'm between Hamilton and rdr.

On Bozo:

D1:

Not much to comment on, Bozo almost completely talked mechs, which doesn't give any information. I can see Bozo doing this as any alignment, but if you were intent on tunneling you could claim he was trying to fit in by producing cheap easy content.

His vote, however, is incredibly interesting. He votes darg, because ghug had a good point and it really was confusing why darg appeared a little unfamiliar with mechs when he should have been.

Then he switches to Ham 40 minutes later because maybe Ham was pocketing?! It's actually strange.

As town either he was understating the depths of his feeling on Ham or he just had no clue and decided to wing it because somehow the darg vote didn't feel quite right. This does not seem like a Bozo move to me.

As Mafia, I could see him doing this as a way to build another town wagon or feeling like it would be safe to bus his teammate.

Neither of these feel very Bozo-like, so it's hard for me to draw an alignment conclusion.

His opening post is a VT claim. Sincerely surprised Jamiet didn't bite his head off for it, and in fact I jokingly made a point of VT claiming in the same way a couple of times. Nobody commented, huh.

After this, Bozo goes into analytical mode, which always gets him townread, presumably because it is so helpful even if sometimes inaccurate. I assume Mafia Bozo would wield the same weapon, however, and I am fearful of the damage Mafia Bozo could cause, so I can't just townread him for it.

In fact, if you look closely, you will see that Bozo questioned these players:

Ham
sweetandcool
damo

and comments that Mad and Ham could be teammates.

Bozo threw a few questions at damo, but damo never actually responded (I think he may have responded to other players who asked similar questions).

Ham and him had a light inconsequential conversation, concluding with Ham sounding a bit upset with Bozo. Could this have been scripted? Anything at night can be easily scripted. If it is not scripted, then I think Ham was genuinely upset and not Mafia.

The highlight of the entire N1 was Bozo's grilling of sweetandcool, it totally dominated the thread. While there are reasons to conclude otherwise, you could totally choose to believe that our entire conversation was scripted.

Bozo's grilling of me felt peculiar. I have been subject to a few of his past interrogations but this time it felt like he was actually trying to scumread me. Read his questioning of me and ask how substantial that conversation actually was. He queried me about a few things then absolutely latched onto the thing that got me killed last game (though I was Mafia then, yes). He comes across as a shark smelling blood in the water and is driving to have me misskilled as hard as he can.

Despite making me look as dirty as he possibly could he has still not even bothered voting me. His comment about Will voting for sweetandcool seeming scripted comes across as something he and his Mafia pals planned coming into the day. Is Will in on it? I really don't know, but Bozo's swiftness in making that comment makes it seem like it was on his mind already.

It's my father in law's birthday today, so I'm not going to do any more analysis for today. I hope to have more tomorrow.

In light of Town completely whiffing it D1, I think ghug's strategy of going for Ham makes sense, even if I town him a bit.

Players that should be under pressure today are Jam, Ham, and sweetandcool. If none of us are Mafia then it's absolutely incredible we missed so badly.

Consequently, I encourage an investigation into the Jam, Ham, and sweetandcool wagons D1, maybe there are clues. Maybe Will too?

1. Investigate Jam, Ham, Will and sweetandcool wagons.
2. Use that analysis to dredge up new suspects.
3. Either vote someone from (1) or a new suspect if the analysis is compelling.

That is my plan, and I think reasonable for town generally.

Or just vote Bozo, because I think there is a good chance they are Mafia.

How do you reconcile damo being the obvious NK with him obviously not being the investigator?

It was obvious he was attempting to eat the NK. While I would expect Mafia to see through that, it still put him in much greater danger of being the NK than any other player. Consequently investigating damo is a 0 IQ play.

It still seems to me that your original post did not give enough consideration that the investigator was concerned about C, which makes me think you knew all along that damo was town.

This feels like a misstep from sweet as mafia that he is trying to drown out with other weird posts.

Yeah we use r2modman and have a modlist with some new moons, plus MoreCompany and more suits/emotes. We also added in Mimics (which we aren't sure about yet) an Skinwalkers (which are terrifying)

I actually respect the abilities of many players (though this game, frankly, most players seem absolutely devoid of any ability whatsoever), but I'm never going to let my perception of another player's ability influence my NK choice (when I am Mafia,which I am not this game). It gets a bit boring when Mafia targets the same few players over and over for the NK.
