Sweet and Jamie had an altercation last night that I, in a very surprising turn of events, sided with Jamie on.

Then sweet has been weird again this morning.
I really wish bunny was in this game, he would understand.

Have you read his notes in the godthread for other Mafia games? He frequently reads people's alignment, ignoring the fact as Mafia or spectator he would know it.

I am baffled so many people on this website think it is impossible to make alignment reads as Mafia.
It is impossible to make genuine ones because as Mafia you already know the fucking answer.

Making a "read" involves deduction. It is not possible to deduce an answer you were handed in writing at the outset of the game!
You are incorrect, sorry.

Even if you think I am "wrong", it's kind of sad to vote me for that reason. Like, please vote me every single game, because it's never changing.

Day 2 Vote Count 2

It was a rather innocuous event that pushed Tom over the edge; to most outside observers, they might not even register the event as an affront. Tom was in line at the ice cream store. It was busy and full of happy, boisterous people. Tom was all by himself in the crowd. As he stood in line, several different groups cut in front of him, either not noticing his position, or not caring. Tom let them go without saying anything.

As he pondered what he wanted, the variety on offer was overwhelming. Did he want a milkshake? A cone? Full fat? Frozen Yogurt? A traditional flavor or something different? Toppings? The options were myriad, and he couldn't decide. Eventually he noticed that while he might want a root beer float, the milkshakes seemed to be on sale by comparison: for one penny. Not having any other way to decide, he figured that would work.

When it was finally his turn to pay, they charged him the extra penny. It turned out the board was in error, and now he had ordered something he didn't want. "No," he said, "that's not the price listed."

The obviously tired clerk looked at the board and at him while the busy line stalled behind him. She explained that it was an error on the board. Tom wouldn't relent. This was his stand. She gave him the penny back.

Tom sat there, stewing. Eating the sweets he didn't want, feeling cheap for having argued over a penny he didn't need.

All alone in the crowd of happy people.

ghug (2) dargorygel Chaqa
TheMadMonarch (2) ghug heartthrob24909
Hamilton Brian (1) rdrivera2005

worcej still needs to post and vote.

rdrivera2005, Hamilton Brian, Chaqa, and BK3K still need to meet minimum posting requirements (I believe the rules now say 4 posts per day but haven't checked recently).

The day is still young. It ends in 30 hours and 40 minutes.

Do the people voting sweet right now really think he'd be bold enough to draw attention to his having read into the softing that got damo killed?
He seems to have a habit of saying things that a sensible person would not say.

Also, you're not going to roll scum every game.

This argument only exists in scenarios where you are scum.

No I will not be explaining why.

Not yet....
I think heart is town.
Sweet, what happened to this?
Oh, I think I addressed it in the post right after that. I retracted that statement, because I had misread something.

I re-read those ghug posts and I don't know what morning me was seeing.

I think I understand his point about Monarch better, but I still think the OMGUS vote is strange and his D1 wasn't great to me. I'm fine to park on ghug for a bit.

Please, punch me in the face and then vote me, because I'm bad and scummy for these things too.

GM: Sweetandcool, you are scum with Ghug

Sweetandcool: Hmm, judging by Ghug's posts, I deduce that he is scum. I am great at detecting things, how clever I am for working out Ghug's alignment.

No, you twit, you knew that already.

The same way I can reread a mystery book and still enjoy it. The same way I play chess. The same way I solve math problems, new and familiar. The same way I rewatch a movie and enjoy it. The same way I play all 4 sides of a game of Mahjong.

Sheer, unadulterated, willpower.

It's not the same. You can enjoy reading the book again, but you still know the outcome the second time.

Unless you are trying to claim your memory is so bad that you forgot your team mates the second you look away from reading the PM?

One of my favorite films is "Glengarry Glen Ross".

I have seen it multiple times.

I enjoy it each time.

But if I put it on and said "I have seen this film 20 times; I have no idea what is going to happen!" I would come across as a fucking dimwit.

Surprised to see the Sweet wagon.

I think I'll retract my hostility toward bozo; he's simply doing what he does. I want to follow that thread though to see where in the labyrinth it goes.
