I would prefer to post to GMs my top choice, and announce it at EoN. Some recrd keeping would allow the investigator to warch, note. And figure things out to reveal when they have some scum to announce.

Jamie is a bit narrow. Ignorance humor. That is often more scum jamie. But i think jamie's opening suggestion towny.

Tom's mother was in her usual mood today. Tom hated visiting his mother. He was convinced that she'd fallen ill because she accidentally said something nice about someone. But he went every day to visit; even though she claimed to never need him, and was never nice to him. She complained about everything, and the only time he saw her smile or laugh was at someone else's misfortune.

"Almost done, mom." He never did understand how she managed to delete libraries in hidden folders, while also not knowing how to open any application but e-mail and web browser.

Tom was about at his limit for dealing with her invective stream.

"You really should think about a different haircut. Or dying your hair. The salt and pepper look only works for men in better shape than you."

"Yes, mom. I think I got your computer working again."

"About time. If you fixed it right last time, you wouldn't have to keep coming back here. It's annoying that you come around here and never have anything interesting to talk about."

"I know mom. I'll see you tomorrow with your next round of medications." As upsetting as it was dealing with his mother, Tom at least felt a sense of pride is his filial duties. But he really wished he hadn't had to cancel his date to fix her computer.

FWIW, sweet…this was the almost identical dynamic between Jamie and I last game. Not saying it’s foregone AI but he was town last game. I just didn’t want to let up with my gut feel and I paid the price. D2 was it?

What a weird group of individuals. Jamie seems more likely to be mafia but the chance is negligible. This seems like manufactures scum on scum or town on town.

I'm a bit suspicious of darg because we reviewed this setup but it seems on brand for Kak.

Since you are using this meta-knowledge of Darg:

During the approval process, did either of you question / ask for clarity on any particular parts of the setup? Was there much debate or did you just rubber-stamp it?

We spent a while thinking through how town could best use the role. I'm just surprised he's not wanting to optimize at all now.

Genuinely want to understand your thought process here; in my opinion, the early post made by (I believe) bozo which outlined the following --
- If the investigation result is Mafia, then VotedPlayer and InvestigatedPlayer are have the same alignment as one another
- If the investigation result is Town, then VotedPlayer and InvestigatedPlayer have different alignments from one another
-- feels like it gives us an equal tier of information either way. I personally don't think it matters who the town votes for as long as we all know who that is.

But I definitely want to know if/why you think otherwise.

I think that getting a dead-set read on an individual is not as important as setting up the alignment pairs between different players in the game. If the investigator lasts long enough, they can get pretty close to solving it, I would imagine.

But again open to others' thoughts since clearly this is controversial
