Narrowing it down:
Is he, specifically, a monkey?
Is he, specifically, a monkey?

Are we ruling out bovidae due to the weight issue? The likes of Ed the horse would easily be too heavy... but what's the mass of your typical My Little Pony?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 3:04 pmSo it's a rodent or a primate character that was featured on TV.

Although thinking about it, horses may not count. But fictional goats surely would?

Primarily on the basis of weight I assume it to be a rodent or a primate, and probably not something like a gorilla.Octavious wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 3:13 pmAre we ruling out bovidae due to the weight issue? But also, the eating question. Many members of the bovid family are commonly eaten.

Horses are not part of Bovidae.Octavious wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 3:13 pmAre we ruling out bovidae due to the weight issue? Some might think that Bovidae is ruled out because of the diet thing, but I doubt many Canadians are eating gazelles, for example.

Yes.Can it speak?
No.Is he, specifically, a monkey?
1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 12. Fictional rodent, primate or bovidae; but not a monkey.
2. Weight less than 180 lbs.
5, 8. Introduced in a movie or TV show Jan 1 / 41 or later.
9. Not part of the diet of a typical omnivorous Canadian.
11. Can speak.
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 164
It seems like a rodent is the most likely, because most fictional primates are monkeys, and most fictional bovids are of the large and/or edible variety.

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 164
How heavy is a typical reindeer, do you think? Would a flying reindeer be considered lighter than air?

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 164
That would be a timely one, but reindeer are neither rodents nor primates nor Bovidae.
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 164
Is this a fictional rodent introduced prior to the beginning of 2010?

Well, as I'm calling it a night for Christmas I'll make a random stab in the dark and bugger off.
Is it Roland Rat?
Merry Christmas, all!

It is not Roland Rat, but I will give that as a free hint to the entire game as a Christmas present.

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 164
Is the character's name the same as, or part of, that of the movie or TV show in which they first appeared?
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 164
(Clarification: for Peppa Pig, the answer would be yes, because her name is in the title. I know it's not her though, since pigs have been eliminated.)

Don't tell Octavious the "pony" his parents gave him to ride as a child was actually a goat.
