It feels plausible, but again there was a lot of stacking and bussing.
@heart how has this post aged?
I think the group collectively had the right idea about assuming different day 1 voting patterns among the scum but I don't think it's aged well. I recall Tem, Chaqa, and myself being brought up a lot starting with that conversation (and your post isn't the exact same list but holds to the same concept) and based on what I know that would be 0 for 3 on actual scum
Why am I voting ghug?

Hi I'm back. Replied below
OK...how do we solve this
I'm looking back at D1, and thinking "if we knew the answer, all the votes would make sense." And then trying different combinations on.
Something we haven't looked much into (because it would seem CRAZY that entire scum team bussed each other d1) is that being the first vote camped out on a scum is kind of safe to do even when that person ends up being eliminated...

Thinking of our colleague who famously refused to budge on one of her votes early in Game 3 and that move essentially won her the game.

Worcej and ghug were on sweet super early. Once momentum starts building, is it riskier to jump off than to stay on and deal with the consequences?

sweet also has a reputation as not a great scum player. They were caught D1 in the previous game.

I’m not actually entirely sure, whenever I meet someone new I kind of store a version of them in my head, and whenever someone deviates from said version I can kind of sense it.

Call it a stupid gut feeling but somethings just off with Worcej
This feels forced to me because literally I was gone most of D1 last game and didn't really do anything, so simply existing in this phase and posting is different than the one game version.
Didn't you disappear last game too? I hardly recall you in that game.
If worcej is scum...this whole chain is crazy.

One thing I've learned is that you don't really have to respond to stuff like this, Will.

Rdr didn't even give a vague reason for it (though the quoted text implies it was because of your jokes).

We all know you were joking, or possibly, "joking".

Reserve defense for actual accusations, and focus on hunting or whatever.

Oooo... this is even spicier than then damo's possible bad memory.
If it's worcej-ghug...they are MASSIVELY open wolfing here

Interesting to note that you and Damo each changed your vote a ton that day. Worcej, ghug, and I did not move as much.

Worcej's vote only changed once; mine twice. Ghug's vote changed 4x but he kept it between the same 3 people: Bona, Tem, and me.

If I remember correctly this EoD felt inactive. I know that I didn't feel comfortable seeing all the votes pile onto Temasek.

Damo and Ghug both switched onto Tem very last minute when it probably wasn't necessary. They explained it's to avoid a tie which I believe but I don't personally think I would do that.

I think that last second vote is largely NAI

brb...gotta throw some wood in the stove.

Go tell me why I swore and voted ghug. And tell me if it's stupid. I can't decide.

The open wolfing posts are crazy though. Looking at them thinking "scum!ghug"? makes it crazy.

huh? Be specific
My guess:

You assume in ur post that there are scum on Macca's wagon
You suggest Sweet, Just wouldnt vote there bc then all scum would be on same wagon
Ghug does not fully buy in because "there was a lot of stacking and bussing"
He would have a better idea that this is the case if he knew that there was indeed a lot of stacking and bussing
Sweet and Just bussing each other is not really "a lot of stacking and bussing"

The implied conclusion: Ghug knows that there was a lot of stacking and bussing. Maybe even Ghug himself stacked and bussed.

Yes. That seemed clear.

I think you’re the one person I won’t vote for today.

If you’re scum, you’ve played brilliantly.
Sadly I'm town.

Talk to me about damo. I felt like I had a scent last night with the worcej vote, but I dug around and couldn't find anything else, and I think I understand his logic again today, so I'm back to feeling good about my townread. If the three of us can get on the same page about worcej/heart, I think we just win.
damo seemed bored when he was losing early (if he's scum).

He'd lost sweet, I'd shot Just.

And then he just...checked out a bit?

He's only picked up here at the end when he has a chance.

That DOES remind me of scum!damo. He doesn't enjoy putting effort in to lost causes and sort of checks out and coasts.

Talk to me about him getting the name wrong just now. Is that scum!damo who isn't paying attention? Or town!damo getting confused?
Wait, which thing are you talking about?

People who know him: would town!ghug catch moment, and then say this? I can def see it thru the lens of being an inside joke among scumbuddies... Just +1'd ghug's comment, also, if that means anything

So...were ghug and/or worcej bussing sweet?

Were damo and/or heartthrob pushing a counterwagon that their teammates weren't on?
I mean I've said the whole time that there was likely an early busser, which is the main reason I came to seriously suspect worcej when Bona flipped town.

I was. See my last comment. Given how late Will got on the wagon, worcej earlier feels pretty likely.

I think Bona is probably scum but in the absence of a cc (don't, I'm sure you won't) I don't think he's worth DKing until D5 jic.

If Bona is scum then unless all 4 were bussing at EOD1 there is a scum in {heart, Tem, Chaqa, Macca} but I have already indicated Macca is quasi-locktwon so I advocate

heart
Tem
Chaqa

as the next 3 DKs (unless Bona survives to D5).
@ghug how has this post aged?
Fine? He was wrong about Tem and Chaqa, but so were many others.

The EOD1 finished with these wagons, but the story of how we got there is quite impressive:

sweetandcool (8) worcej ghug Bonatogether SpiritoftheRadio bozotheclown Jamiet99uk JustAGuyNamedWill damo666
JustAGuyNamedWill (4) BunnyGo rdrivera2005 sweetandcool Hamilton Brian
Macca573 (2) heartthrob24909 Temasek22
Bonatogether (1) Chaqa*
No‑Kill (1) Macca573

An hour before EOD there were different wagons:

Macca had been in the lead for a while

Macca573 (3) damo heartthrob24909 Temasek22
Bona (3) sweetandcool Chaqa JustAGuyNamedWill
sweetandcool (2) worcej ghug
No-Kill (2) Macca Jamie
BunnyGo (2) Bona SpiritoftheRadio
JustAGuyNamedWill (2) BunnyGo rdr
Temasek (1) bozo

This had sat for 20 minutes since Jamie left worcej's vanity wagon to a no-kill.

Bona seems to have skipped me arguing with Just and Bona saying "Bongo those are not kind words" And not 2 posts later switches from voting me to voting sweet "for self-preservation".

Notice voting Macca would have been untying the lead, but Bona puts sweet into a 3-way tie with himself and Macca.

Macca573 (3) damo heartthrob24909 Temasek22
Bona (3) sweetandcool Chaqa JustAGuyNamedWill
sweetandcool (3) worcej ghug Bona
No-Kill (2) Macca Jamie
JustAGuyNamedWill (2) BunnyGo rdr
BunnyGo (1) SpiritoftheRadio
Temasek (1) bozo

This occurs in a cross-post with sweet who switches to voting Just and then utters the odd words "Ach, bad timing, I just changed my vote."

THIS is a VERY VERY strange sequence. I think that with the right view of the game, this sequence makes sense: Why did nobody vote Macca "for self preservation"? Why did sweet say that? Why did sweet CHOOSE to vote Just?

It became:

Macca573 (3) damo heartthrob24909 Temasek22
JustAGuyNamedWill (3) BunnyGo rdrsweetandcool
Bona (2) Chaqa JustAGuyNamedWill
sweetandcool (3) worcej ghug Bona
No-Kill (2) Macca Jamie
BunnyGo (1) SpiritoftheRadio
Temasek (1) bozo

Part two: the reflexive bus coming soon.
Having now read, I see a scum team bussing the shit out of each other.
@anyone

HOW HAS THIS POST AGED?!
I was operating under the assumption that Bona was scum.
