I get IRL busy part because I fall into the same bucket, but am I the only one concerned that this type of activity is going to be our downfall… scum keep players like Macca around because of how disconnected they are.

It's wild. Normally I'd get horrifically scum read for pulling shit like this...

You.re right in that I think you are more likely town than scum but that is true for everyone. However I think you are more likely scum than anyone else.

At this point in the read, I had/have no doubts about chaqa. I know I now have the benefit of hindsight, but I never thought he was scummy.

I think Bunny looks really bad, especially the reaction to the Bona flip. Set off huge alarm bells. I think some others noticed too but nothing came of it?

I'd also like to bring attention to this:

I think bunny voting for me is the most suspicious one. He was pretty reasonably reading me all game.

I haven't checked if this is true yet, but given Chaqa's flip, I think he was unlikely to lie.

Some notes about Bunny

- I was surprised at the point when he didn't understand some of the mech stuff. Before we started the game which I am currently GMing at work, he asked me a lot of specific mech questions which I never would have dreamed up. It's always possible that this time he truly did not spend as much time thinking through the mechs but it struck me as surprising.

- He has been very nice to me all game. Mostly coming across in moments when I ask a question and he quotes with "this is a good question." I've appreciated it, Bunny, but I have to wonder whether you are doing this because you agree with me in game or because you know me irl... I got pocketed HARD by my office bff during a game when she was scum and then she swept the floor with me and kicked me to the streets in the final round with not a care in the world. I have no emotions for any of you this game except for Bunny, so if he were scum it would be a pretty clean strategy for him to gain an ally in me because that base level of knowing the person is just there and I can more easily derive meaning from my interactions with Bunny than from my interactions with anyone else in the game.

Part of where it's felt most natural/appropriate for me to plug in so far this game is my stating my observations and asking questions. As opposed to being able to provide concrete reads (though I have been trying to do this when requested).

What I lack in experience with all of you and with the game (didn't know what crumbing was until a few days ago), I am trying to make up for with fresh eyes that hopefully can ask a good question that will maybe get a more experienced or more comfortable player thinking in a different way.

I don't necessarily think that sorting people into scum/town is always the best thing to do because it can lead to confirmation bias. Sure, I'll tell you I townread rdr because you asked me, but I don't think I really mean that.

I think that's what I've been trying to get to in wanting to put pressure on different people. The Chaqa/Temasek/Heartthrob scumread has stayed pretty static for a couple rounds now and the town's gotten it wrong twice and if they don't change how they're thinking about it they're going to get it wrong again
