Not sure if this is buddying or coaching:

So far I scumread worcej and ND. Why? Worcej and ND have been playing really weirdly comparatively to the last game. Especially ND. He completely dipped after we pointed out his unusual actions.

What's different about worcej to you?

One thing I've learned is that you don't really have to respond to stuff like this, Will.

Rdr didn't even give a vague reason for it (though the quoted text implies it was because of your jokes).

We all know you were joking, or possibly, "joking".

Reserve defense for actual accusations, and focus on hunting or whatever.

This post (and the two immediately preceding it) feel more like sweet trying to miskill a slot he's worried will now be harder to miskill when it swaps from ND to Bona. He was looking forward to getting an ND miskill I think.

I've decided that ND (Bona) could be scum.

ND's strategy actually halfway worked last time as Mafia. Several people townread him for his antics. So I'm thinking this game he decided to resurrect that strategy, banking on the fact that people would assume he wouldn't be so obvious about using his previous scum-strategy, and therefore would townread him.

The later posts with him voting ND and arguing with Bona continued this feel to me.

I’m not liking any of the wagons today. And I think they’re largely town lead. Just don’t like.

@bona @sweet @worcej what’re your thoughts on spirit so far?

I literally have had no thoughts on Radio this game, except poking him for pocketing.

This is strange, I think if Spirit is a teammate he either ignores me or pushes a view. Sitting back and shrugging seems like he's giving a chance for ME to err by pushing a miskill on Spirit.

So did a bit of a dive on their ISOs:

Tem responded with a vote on sweet for voting on Bona. This feels unlike what I'd expect from scum!Tem in that situation.

Chaqa opened by scumming sweet, and then saying "why not both sweet AND ND being scum?" on page 8.

HamB and rdr looked pretty scummy on votes and posts. rdr is always hard to read. HamB...when he looks scummy...he is usually scum.


Would like wagons (in order of how likely I think they're scum) of

HamB, rdr(?), Just, Macca(?) tomorrow.

I think the sweetandcool/Bonatogether interaction could have been scum theater. Also, I would not rule out damo yet, his D1 voting does not look too good.

My vote was on Hamilton Brian, whom nobody else apparently had any interest in voting, and I recalled Sweetandcool's earlier attempt at buddying me, which I still found somewhat suspicious.

As I recall the other wagons were WillAGuyNamedJust, and Macca5678.

I had no clear view on JustWillANamedGuy, and I was concerned that Macca was potentially an easy mis-kill after the sketchy way Temasek jumped on her.

So Sweetandcool was the cool and sweet way to vote.

Did my morning read. Nothing really insightful.

Only thing I've found interesting so far is ND's behaviour. They acted this way in the last Mini where they were Mafia. In M83, they were town and they definitely dialed back their performance.

I'm not concluding they are Mafia here, but it's just interesting that they've decided to go back to being highly performative.

I'm going to ##VOTE Ham because it's fun now. Will try to come up with a serious vote before EoD.

sweetandcool's "change of opinion" came shortly after Bonatogether joined the game. While it is possible he decided Bonatogether would be a good mis-kill target, he also could have moved from distancing to bussing because he was concerned Bonatogether would get DKed and he did not want to miss the opportunity to be on Bonatogether's wagon if that happened.

I think Bonatogether is my top bussing candidate, and would be a good DK choice.

I also did not like the votes for Macca, and there could have been a scum motivation to discredit her vote for Bonatogether, as well as try to build her wagon as an alternative to Bonatogether. sweetandcool did not seem too likely to be the DK at the time Macca's wagon formed, but 1 or 2 mafia could have joined to try to protect Bonatogether.
