By the time I saw it, you had corrected it to "Parkin Cake". It's some kind of ginger cake, isn't it? I'm not that familiar with it.

I wanted to make a ginger cake (I added Orange to it, a great combo) and found the recipe in my cookbook. Apparently, it is traditionally made for Guy Fawkes Day. So much so that in some parts of England they call it Parkin Day.

Jamie's usually too busy planning bombings on that day to have time for cake.

I really haven't had time to read anything today or even check the thread.

Had something of an emergency and spent 5 hours waiting for a tow truck in a dive gas station in the middle of no where. Then was at the shop, then had to get the car towed somewhere else and I had to deal with IRL idiots. It's a mess.

Anyway, I probably won't be engaging much tomorrow either. I'm not informed on anything. If anyone asked me a question, then I haven't seen it or read anything in depth.

I'm not scum for as much as that counts, but I don't have an informed read and I won't. Sorry my emergency has impacted my ability to play. I would probably request a sub if the GM has one, because the next few days are going to be busy especially if I have to buy a new car.

I am just perplexed you wouldn't remember someone from a scum game. Especially one less than 12 months ago - it was M1023.

I find myself more able to recall scum games than town games, even some of the games where I was a PR. Scum teams spend more time working together and analyzing each other's play.

I've decided that ND (Bona) could be scum.

ND's strategy actually halfway worked last time as Mafia. Several people townread him for his antics. So I'm thinking this game he decided to resurrect that strategy, banking on the fact that people would assume he wouldn't be so obvious about using his previous scum-strategy, and therefore would townread him.
