Re: Twenty Questions Game 156
Neither Dom Pedro II nor Simon Bolivar.
And not born in Brazil. That’s fourteen.

Re: Twenty Questions Game 156
Hardly a conditional question. If I'm correct, game over. If not, its my question. Please refer to rule 3 - don't ask "conditional" questions.
Also Rule 3 doesn't prohibit conditional questions. It just clarifies that they will be counted as questions. Which is precisely my intention if my free guess is not correct.
Carry on.

Is he from a Spanish-speaking country whose modern flag prominently features the colours Yellow, Blue, and Red?
(N.B. Whatever answer is given should narrow us down to 3 countries).

11 and 12 were actually the same question, even though they were answered by OP in two different posts. So we're at 14. 15 counting your most recent one.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 8:39 pmThat was 15 questions so far.

Indeed he did.
He is not. Very close now!Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 8:51 pmIs he from a Spanish-speaking country whose modern flag prominently features the colours Yellow, Blue, and Red?

Argentina
Bolivia
Brazil
Chile
Paraguay
Uruguay
That leaves:
Colombia
Ecuador
Guyana
Peru
Surinam
Venezuela
Of those:
Colombia - Spanish - Yellow / Blue / Red flag
Ecuador - Spanish - Yellow / Blue / Red flag
Guyana - English, Creole - Yellow / Red / Green flag
Peru - Spanish - Red and White flag
Suriname - Dutch - Red / Green / White flag
Venezuela - Spanish - Yellow / Blue / Red flag
Therefore he is from Guyana, Peru, or Suriname. Most likely Peru if I had to guess.

Re: Twenty Questions Game 156
I'm not a expert but his Wikipedia entry doesn't mention any kind of military role at all, so surely it can't be him?

Re: Twenty Questions Game 156
I don't know enough about Peruvian political history to be able to make a guess.

Re: Twenty Questions Game 156
Has this person previously served as President or Prime Minister of Peru?

Pretty good guess. Not him.
Nope. Those would fall under either elected position or officially military.
