Re: MAFIA 83: HALLOWE'EN IN THE TOYSHOP - GAME THREAD
incase of that bullshit, I'm going to pull some of the crumbs I dropped D1 about my item:
It is the first item I mentioned all game
It is the first item I mentioned all game
I posted this cookie (meant to symbolise crumbs) in response to this HB post to hint that I had been crumbing (or was attempting to)
I was also going to make a reference to Harry Dubios start of D2 when I got my read, as a way to disguise my role. That became not relevant when BB did... that...Macca573 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2023 11:07 amHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2023 2:11 amBrain seems to often crumb stuff. But I never know how to read for crumbs, so...![]()

I can see the will case, but I really think the last 2 are Darg and HB.

This is suspicious to me. Darg is the only person (other than me, but I don't count), to have a correct read on BB? Is it because he already knew and was trying to save face before Brain's fakeclaim inevitably blew up in his face?dargorygel wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 8:30 pmNight 1 Readish list
Macca town. I approve the tinfoiling, although I think in the end, that the axing was done pretty straightforwardly… Ham killed Sweet (no doubt because of MY superior tinfoil analysis!) and a scum member independently fear killed ghug. At any rate, macca is reasonable, responds, and I townread her.
Brain scum. While the tedious work of reading all of the lowposters seems townier than not, I find brain not tunnelly enough to be town. I wonder if ole brain is attempting to appear his usual self (he’s even pointed out how like normal he is being.) I heartily doubt the claim. Brain has fake-claimed as any alignment, but I see no crumbs, AND he ticked my tell.
Vecna town. His absence and low post count notwithstanding, vecna is properly analytic, and attempts conversations rather than pronouncements. (He tends, I believe, towards pronouncements as scum.) More to the point, he does not care what anyone thinks of him or his points.
Ham town. Almost a clear, really. If there IS some convoluted oddness going on, it will show up later. I particularly liked his response to all the musing about axe shenanigans. Pulled me back from some of my leanings towards tinfoil shenanigans, tbh.
Kak scum. Kak is too tunnelly. Kak is unenthused. Kak has expressed no silliness. Kak is scum.
Darg town. Ole Darg stubbornly plays his own game. He is more brilliant than most folk see (as evidenced in his artful (although slightly silly) catch of sweet.
Rdr not really null, but some pulling both ways. My gut at EoD yesterday, in the sudden panic of wanting to change my tunnelled vote from sweet, jumped me to rdr. He is usually hard for me to read. It might be some omgus on my part, but rdr seems busy, without claiming to be busy.
ND town. Maybe the least of my town reads. But his pendantic and argumentation seems town. Angry, but not for no reason. The stubbornness about moving his vote to avoid a tie is slightly concerning.
Will town. He is clearly more experienced than his newbiness implies. I do not buy ND’s narrative about Will. His high level of involvement, with more than filler, feels town.
Bozo town. Not a lot to go on. I note no quizzes, surveys, math problems, or mechanical conundrums outlined. But that is actually NAI. Just gut at this point.
Spirit town. I like spirit’s jumping all over the place. But not without firmly planting his feet before the next jump.
Worcej scum or town. Worcej has been quiet. I do not recall if he has given a reason. But he is very calm. Too calm. (Mysterious hallowe’en music) A SLIGHT lean towards town because I think it might be self-restraint instead of unabashed saying what he wants to say.
So my scumlist is: brain, kak, and an unenthusiastic worcej or rdr.

And HB posted these
Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 9:22 pmBrain has claimed a town item. There's a miniscule chance it's a fake claim. 17 of those 18 items are within this pool. For Brain to drop that as a fake is pretty ballsy.
We have to assume brain is townclear.
Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 9:27 pmAfter deaths, 11 town and 3 mafia or 12 town and 2 mafia
Assuming brain and I being clear, 9 more town and 3 mafia or 10 more town and 3 mafia. Not sure how much my gut reads change now compared to yesterday.
Mostly just about the first one, in what world is there ever a "minuscule" chance the Brainbomb did a fakeclaim. Have you ever played with him before?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 9:32 pmI am pretty sus of the tinfoilry that macca devoted to determining who, or how, killed sweet and ghug. And that was the big content for them over the night.

Re: MAFIA 83: HALLOWE'EN IN THE TOYSHOP - GAME THREAD
at present one mafia member is yelling at me for claiming and for last nights kill choice which I hijacked.
the other teammate is still mad about something said in the chat itself
and then our third guy wants to concede
and all of us are fighting over letting town have a short night or me living longer and they all want me to just die

Nope, if you are town use your bullet on Brain. Having another void day is pretty bad for town.

##CALL GM
Does that armor item protect against votes? Or just against death-causing actions?
