I am going to have to do an apologetic post - the game started off right during a vacation trip for a friends wedding that is in a few hours, so my ability to contribute or even really read the game for D1 is rather poor.

No, it won't. They did a complete reroll, so there could be 3 or 4 Mafia. However, the odds of there being 3 Mafia are quite low, so we might as well assume 4. And if the game ends after we catch 3, that will be a pleasant surprise.
