If there are 4 mafia and they have the ideal combination of items (for mafia), I think we could only have 2 mis-kills available.

Also, if I understand the set-up correctly, there is approximately a 78% chance there are 4 mafia.

I think we should just assume there are 4 mafia, it's easier.

I’d like to offer an allegory of the new player. There once was a player named Brian. Brian was intrigued with mafia and wanted to try it out. Brian signed up to a game and rolled mafia. In his very first game. Brian was a little worried but relieved that his partner was one JamieT. “He’ll show me the ropes, and I can’t wait to get into the mafiachat with him on N1,” Brian thought. In the meantime, Brian had to present himself to everyone else. From reads of previous games it seemed like first day posts were over-the-top, humorous, shit-posty, braggadocio, and all sorts. So, Brian tried to go in big. And it failed. Brian decided it would be better to dial it down, as any alignment, next game.

I am not saying I think this suggests JustAGuy is mafia. I think it is certainly a possibility. I just think it’s tough for new players to get their feet on the ground in this game, and JustAGuy is the latest illustration of that.

I have a similar story with the first game I ever played on this website way back in M8. I rolled mafia in M8 was clueless, floundered, and slipped then was the D1 vote. Will reminds me of that hard in his posts:

1. His comment on how he reads people not posting as scum but then admits to not posting.
2. Stating Macca is scum when he has presumably never played with them because he is new to the site and not elaborating.
3. Macca is also a suspicious person in this game (see my commentary)

I don't know, but I get what you are saying and right now after weighing everyone's posts I think the best candidate is Will.

Not sure what your question is? But, yes, I do question everyone in the game and read the game. Maybe spend less time lifting weights and play the game that you signed up for.

I've noted multiple observations I actively disagree with, like the Bona three pages comment. I've always disagreed with his observations though, so maybe it's more of a weapon of truth than of trying.

Hilariously we were placed on a street that had a ton of adult entertainment. And this was on a school sponsored trip, too.

I loved the place we stayed, I tried caviar for the first time (it was good on my toast), and the food was generally delicious. The only problem was that I could hardly understand the locals, whose accent was impenetrable to me.

Semi-related, I went on a free walking tour of Amsterdam, and the guide clearly wasn't expecting anyone to bring their ten year-old child. The first prostitute we saw was reading a book, so he crafted this very good, long, and detailed metaphor about how people pay the women in the windows to read to them. The kid let him go on for several minutes in silence and then waited for a pause and said "I know they're hookahs" in a thick Boston accent. It was hilarious.

I've actually been really liking his play so far. And his case is better than most D1 cases. Though I'm not sure one should read too much into a new player's oddities.

I think as either alignment a new player is liable to say some weird things.

I rolled PR and had to claim D2 and tunneled on the most obnoxious player ever who was ultimately town and everyone else loved so that was it for me.

I like that he's showing a drive to hunt. I'm thoroughly impressed with the hunting itself, but again that's par for the course.

The college I went to had mostly super strict RAs. You couldn't have ladies visit unless you left your door wide open. Surprisingly, this didn't exactly stop the type of behavior they were trying to prevent.

Willie is new, and I think new people tend to say weird things like this. I'll confess, I definitely chuckled when he apologized for not talking and then followed up immediately by stating he was scumreading people who hadn't talked.
