Thanks BB

And dang, people have legit mafia resumes now! I would brag about my abilities at playing social deduction games, but webdip and dating apps have both taught me that my charm doesn't always translate to text lol

I think it has a lot to do with that I smell good. And as a man in a physics department, that isn't a trivial thing. I think it would do a lot for my game if you all could just try to imagine a guy who smells good while you read my posts, because I do :)
Will do!

I trust you more already.
Why??? Such a meaningless statement. 'Oh, geez guys! I trust you!' Bullshit. Meaningless.

@Brain I dont know what s&c, and if that makes me a failure in your eyes, I understand. I do want to give myself a pat on the back for reading your dad energy correctly despite not knowing you were going to be one soon in the slightest, congrats tho!!

@ND Fruit cups are delicious dude

@Bonta I'm a guy who played this game here years ago and have foggy memories of the people here which mostly amount to BB is a bit out there and ND is entertainingly mean. Also ghug is here, as he is and has been before! Besides that I am just some guy, sometimes I play good, most times I fuck something up pretty badly.

@sweet I also kind of want ND to step on me, but maybe things have changed and we have to pay for that kind of thing now. We will see what happens I suppose, but I feel ya

In other news, I had a nap and while quoting on a level that was necessary to respond to you all is currently beyond my power level, I promise to figure it out later on <3
I like this guy, and this is probably town
Commentary on Macca's trust post made me relook Vecna's reply to this post. Important to note that Squawky came into the game and literally says he 'likes this guy' which Macca also repeats (like a sycophant) on the same page.

Macca's got some serious scum vibes going on Page 12 but not to the level of Little Willie.

hamilton is coming off a loss as scum and it was probably a game he shouldve won. so I would expect a town hamilton to show some signs of being relieved or at ease. not sure ive seen that so far.
You get to enjoy my post-curling exhaustion and newfound cool ambivalence I am employing for my games. I'm hear, I'm listening, I'm watching. No need for HB to get too excited to be town again. Just watching it all roll over.

And new folks, expect countless posts like this from brain where they shift their thinking and move it around a lot. I like it. When town I think it has merit. But it is also not alignment indicative.
Uh huh and btw you misspelled 'here' so maybe instead of telling us about how much you lift weights you should consult a basic dictionary.

I assume you've done a quick readthrough.

Anything ping you yet?

I've scanned the day but I need to do another focused look.
Focussing is for people who can... I forgot where this sentence was going...

brainbomb strikes me as very slightly sus. Which is a lot, cause normally I'd back him all the way.

also ghug. but thats... ghug.
What about Brainbomb is sus? Why mention Ghug? What relevance does this post actually have? Other than the appearance of a post? Zero content followed by your other scum oozed statements and light hearted fishing attempts against the alleged body builder (which I doubt) btw.

And hello all. I am not reading the previous 8 pages tonight. Just got back from first curling of the season and lost 7-2.
Okay thanks for feeling the need to inform everyone that you aren't going to read the game.
Not what I said.

So was brain being charitable with his time in addressing each player last night or a deliberate "I have conversation links with each player" campaign to muddy later investigations?
What?

Okay. I'm done.

Here is my recap.

1. You people spend way too much time talking about your personal lives. Why you feel the need to tell me useless information I don't know.

2. Will is the most suspicious person here followed by Macca.

3. Mass item claim is not a good idea.

4. Meta is only useful to get a vibe.

5. I seriously don't care what people think about Ghug and Brainbomb and I am going to scream the next time someone says, 'oh gee guys ghug is ghug and brain is brain, blah, blah, blah.'

That's about it.

I’d like to offer an allegory of the new player. There once was a player named Brian. Brian was intrigued with mafia and wanted to try it out. Brian signed up to a game and rolled mafia. In his very first game. Brian was a little worried but relieved that his partner was one JamieT. “He’ll show me the ropes, and I can’t wait to get into the mafiachat with him on N1,” Brian thought. In the meantime, Brian had to present himself to everyone else. From reads of previous games it seemed like first day posts were over-the-top, humorous, shit-posty, braggadocio, and all sorts. So, Brian tried to go in big. And it failed. Brian decided it would be better to dial it down, as any alignment, next game.

I am not saying I think this suggests JustAGuy is mafia. I think it is certainly a possibility. I just think it’s tough for new players to get their feet on the ground in this game, and JustAGuy is the latest illustration of that.

this guy came in with big will energy. and for this to be town I expect this to continue. and we keep this game manageable so this doesnt get lost in the weeds. this kid could be going places under the right conditions. he could be a brankl, or a sarahg or even a sabi. we have to foster the right belief for that to grow.

so hey will

who do you scumread so far?
Sorry for my intense lack of talking. I was gaming with the boys. I scumread the people that haven’t talked. A lack of effort is not helpful tot the town.
WOW

Little Willie here just STRAIGHT UP STATES, "Sorry for my intense lack of talking."

Little Willie then tells us about what he was doing with his boyfriends.

Little Willie then says and this is huge right here, "I scumread the people that haven't talked."

LOL WTF?

Little Willie then states, "A lack of effort is not helpful tot the town."

Massive NAUGHTY read on this guy. That post tells me everything I need to know.

##Vote JustAGuyNamedWill
Willie is new, and I think new people tend to say weird things like this. I'll confess, I definitely chuckled when he apologized for not talking and then followed up immediately by stating he was scumreading people who hadn't talked.

He probably just meant that at the end of the day he'd vote for a non-poster, which is fair enough.

I agree with 3 and 4.

I get being frustrated by all of the talk about personal lives, but I find even that stuff to be important, particularly to get to know unfamiliar people.

I know nothing of Macca, Willie, and Radio. And the more I learn about their biography the more it will help me to understand and read them.

If there are 4 mafia and they have the ideal combination of items (for mafia), I think we could only have 2 mis-kills available.

Also, if I understand the set-up correctly, there is approximately a 78% chance there are 4 mafia.

spirit has played in like 3 or 4 games and its been a long time. hes a interesting character but hes won as scum also so id say do not lose sight of him at all
Is there a place I can look at old games? I genuinely was surprised to hear I won as scum, lol! Last time I played I just remember being in the final 3 and good and choosing the wrong guy and losing (damn foxcastle where ever he is). I'm trying to get my groove back
According to the Mafia Scoresheet, you are correct that you have not won here as mafia, and have only been mafia 1 time.
