@Bonta I'm a guy who played this game here years ago and have foggy memories of the people here which mostly amount to BB is a bit out there and ND is entertainingly mean. Also ghug is here, as he is and has been before! Besides that I am just some guy, sometimes I play good, most times I fuck something up pretty badly.

@sweet I also kind of want ND to step on me, but maybe things have changed and we have to pay for that kind of thing now. We will see what happens I suppose, but I feel ya

Im pretty close to being sure this applies to literally every game and every person that has ever played in a game.

I was going for my PhD in Mathematics, way back when, but then I ended up settling for a Master's instead. The first year was so awful, I barely had time to sleep.

My PhD will be in physics but I am an education researcher in the field and study how people learn quantum mechanics and some mathematical stuff like taylor series. I got my masters last year and I was planning to leave and teach since I love that shit. But job search was rough, and I decided my advisor was about the best I could ask for and decided to re-up, then I had a burn out last spring, and decided I needed to put effort into things that make me happy and socialize in different ways. So now I host game nights and blood on the clocktower events and found my way back into playing mafia with you all. There, a brief history of my life since I last played here. Sad tho it be.

You live in a place where it is made hard to become a teacher?

And dang, people have legit mafia resumes now! I would brag about my abilities at playing social deduction games, but webdip and dating apps have both taught me that my charm doesn't always translate to text lol

I think it has a lot to do with that I smell good. And as a man in a physics department, that isn't a trivial thing. I think it would do a lot for my game if you all could just try to imagine a guy who smells good while you read my posts, because I do :)

I think this applies to most academic fields dominated by men.

During my PhD there was a clear linear relation between publishing achievements and office smell exclusion zone radius

The item distribution was done on the basis of the setup rules originally advertised.
