And hello all. I am not reading the previous 8 pages tonight. Just got back from first curling of the season and lost 7-2.

and yeah mass claim seems bad since a lot of the items protect people and I still imagine most of the kill attempts will come from scum's night kill. Plus revealing even not critical protection items helps scum narrow down where the good ones might be at. So unless there is a good reason, I'm a fan of keeping things close to the vest for town's sake.

Although I admit it would be more entertaining to learn actual things about people's items. Of course, people could lie... we... we could all lie >:D

My PhD will be in physics but I am an education researcher in the field and study how people learn quantum mechanics and some mathematical stuff like taylor series. I got my masters last year and I was planning to leave and teach since I love that shit. But job search was rough, and I decided my advisor was about the best I could ask for and decided to re-up, then I had a burn out last spring, and decided I needed to put effort into things that make me happy and socialize in different ways. So now I host game nights and blood on the clocktower events and found my way back into playing mafia with you all. There, a brief history of my life since I last played here. Sad tho it be.

I totally get it. You really lose yourself in grad school. Took me like a year before I could comfortably start being able to hold conversations about anything not math related. Education focus is always interesting, it was something I was a bit tempted to do, but opted into focusing on Abstract Algebra and then accidentally leaning into Number Theory.
