Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
Yeah, I'm leaning towards worcej as being the last Mafia. I've generally found in the last couple of games that trusting the more experienced players tends to work out.
So if I'm trusting town (Bozo, damo), then worcej is the vote.
However, worcej's argument about how it feels like Mafia is contentedly sitting back is definitely something that has been on my mind for a while. Which would point towards Jamiet (from my perspective).
Yes, I will have to revisit the entire thread and examine Jamiet and worcej and hopefully I will then be able to make a decision with conviction.
Ham deserves a revisit too, but I still don't think it a very likely possibility at all.

I'm not actually very good at pocketing, it's one of my few weaknesses as scum.

Aha, but what if this is a double-bluff?

Has anyone really "pocketed" anyone else thus far?
I think the lot of us are looking at one another thinking, "Yeah, that might be suspicious."
If anything, I'd say bozo's hard tunnel on worcej could be construed as mafia making a case for a miskill. However, based on bozo's claim, we assume that's not true.

Anyway, my day has been me in the kitchen all morning/afternoon preparing Canadian Thanksgiving dinner for 10 and catching Arsenal take it to Man City. Family will be over in an hour so I should not be around, or my wife will cut me!
I know I am not a universal townread so I will be very surprised not to see you all on the other side of the night.

I think it could be suggested that ND tried to pocket Worcej D1.

It's not particularly challenging research.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 9:03 pmThat I'd need to look at again.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 8:50 pmI think it could be suggested that ND tried to pocket Worcej D1.
Simply note how ND was polite to Worcej while being a rude jackass towards everyone else.

Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
worcej still looks likely to be the remaining mafia, and should be the D3 DK.
If Hamilton Brian, Jamie, or sweetandcool is the remaining mafia, I think they have done a good job of looking like town, and whoever is town can try to figure it out D4. However, I don't expect it will come to that.

Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
We find Bill Murray's character, Phil Connors, waking up to the repetitive tune of "I Got Ghug Babe" by ghuggy and Cher. His first sight is the ghug-covered window, providing a view of the annual Groundhog Day festival in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. As he gazes upon the proceedings, an odd sense of déjà vu creeps over him. Ghug by ghug, he reluctantly gets ready for his ghug as a weather reporter, his attitude mirroring the initial frustration of being stuck in the endless cycle of ghug peculiar day.
Phil's interactions with the townsfolk are ghug with a touch of ghug frustration as he grumbles through conversations, delivering weather forecasts with a hint of sarcasm. Ghug by ghug, the day unfolds with the same series of ghug. As he encounters the cheerful Groundhog Day revelers, he can't help but feel like an outsider in a world that remains constant while he's stuck in this perplexing time loop. He engages in the festival's ghugitions, such as ghuging the weather based on the groundhog's shadow, all the while grappling with the surreal repetition that defines his existence.
As the day unfolds, the people of Punxsutawney, including the ever-optimistic Rita (played by Andie MacDowell), continue their routines, each ghug feeling remarkably familiar to Phil. The charm of the small town and its residents begins to seep into him, even as the ghug cycle persists.
BRAINBOMB has died. He was RITA, the TOWN DOCTOR.
Day 2 has beghug. You may now post.

Note 1:
I oppose hammering in the first 24 hours of today and will not be casting an endvote in that time-frame.
Note 2:
I will find some time within that 24 hour period to re-read Hamilton Brian, as this was one of Doctor Brain's last requests.

Interesting kill. Since Brainbomb was outted as doctor, Mafia could have RB them and then killed Bozo.
Imagine worcej/sweetandcool/Jamiet/Ham were Mafia. Who would you expect them to kill? Brainbomb or Bozo?
Personally, I would have killed Bozo to make worcej look bad. Plus Brainbomb can actually be an asset if you manage to evade his radar.

##VOTE worcej
I need to do my homework first to really decide on my vote, but for now I'm just trusting Bozo.
