Assume I'm town, and if you are town then randomly voting for someone else gives 50%, which is a lot more exciting that 25%.

If the reason for saying 50% here was that you thought there were 3 mafia out of 8 players, so that assuming you were town would give me a 3 in 6 chance of randomly voting for mafia, why didn't you question my 25% chance of a 1 in 8 random event selecting a mafia, if you thought that would be 3/8 instead of 2/8?

I was baffled, but in past games you've pulled out numbers that didn't make sense to me. Didn't have time to figure it out, didn't really care either because all it meant in the end is you probably weren't into my idea.

OK, I think your explanations are believable, so if you are town, can you explain why you are not considering worcej as the remaining mafia?

1) Mafia no-kill...so based on the game setup, there'd be no notification
2) Mafia attempt the kill; Doc save. Both will be notified.
3) Mafia attempt the kill; their target is the Doc. Doc self-saves. Notification!

More or less correct. One of these three things occurred. Your (3) was not worded exactly right, so I corrected it.

I would say there are 2 possibilities as 3 is just a special case of 2 where both happen to be the same person (I wonder if they get 2 messages, doesn't matter).

I think one is highly unlikely unless sweet was so busy enjoying his holiday he forgot. Or worcej CBA. Or brain is incompetently messing about. Or Jamie is meddling with my brain. Or I've overlooked a clever Bozo plan. Or HamB screwed up.

Rest of the page is interesting. We have Jam and Ham playing to the meta and riffing off their simplistic and humorless posts from yesterday night. They both contributed next to nothing yesterday so there is only so long they can riff off each other before they run out of re-run content. Thank God almighty for that one. Continues the theme of Jam = Ham though.

Next. Brain makes some random post about Ham. And then Ham votes for Slippery because Slippery is on a vacation. It was probably Ham’s funniest post to date though but he just copied Damo so no credit. Important factor is Slippery voted for Brain and parroted my logic about Brain because it is undeniable with anyone more than one brain cell that Brain is extremely divorced from this game.

ND is trying to force Jamie and Hamilton to be viewed as the same entity. which could be an effort to bury a teammate by using comparative logic

yes I think worcej looks more desperate than s&c at present. and when rereading his posts he begins every post with I. He is very self focused and spent all his energy defending himself from bozo, without any reasons why he actually scumreads anyone.

I think your focus on posts starting with the letter I is odd.

It's a natural way people communicate. It's not abnormal.

If I ask someone a question, it is quite natural that they might respond:

"I think the answer is [such and such]..."

I would say if you survey a lot of people's posts, a lot of their paragraphs will start with the letter I, certainly more frequently than most other letters of the alphabet.

I therefore think you're putting to much emphasis on the use of "I".

I draw your attention to the fact that every sentence in this post starts with that letter, yet this post does not seem unusual in tone, grammar, style, or tone.

In the first post, you asked if the person the doctor saved should claim, but in the second post, you indicated you did not think the person saved would be notified. Can you explain what you meant by the first post?

It isn't self defense - it's about trying to figure out where people stand on the gamestate and how they are arriving at the conclusions. My D2 flip will do nothing to provide more information to the town unless I force people to connect to me more.

One thing to note: bozo seems to have abandoned his original rational for wanting me on D2 and instead has shifted into the VCA/non-bus methodology.

Both of these reasons for thinking you might be mafia can exist at the same time.

They can, you just walked away from the first one and continue to add on more and more reasons to fit your need.

The problem is you tunnel as town anyways, so it’s NAI.

You also will not consider any situation where I am town. It’s robotic and annoying to try to work with you as a most likely teammate.

Bozo has made 3 different reasons to want me dead and won’t consider anything outside of my likelihood as scum. If he wasn’t such a good analyzer and solver, his style would downright drive me to misery.

Damo is doing his typical lack of information posting. It’s low effort but NAI for him, thus why he goes potentially deep as scum.

And you BB just think I am being defensive and not helping, when I have been prying more reasoning out of the people who scum me to try to get more connections to me so that my flip isn’t worthless. You seem to want to dispute that narrative and call it as me just being a caught scum. I am *always* defensive when I am scum read and I *always* try to point out the flaws in the logic against me. No one gives a shit when I point at who I think is actually scum here.

The people using VCA here to justify me are being too simple - they are defaulting to “scum wouldn’t bus”, which is truthfully wrong for our community. We bus all the time.
