Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
We find Bill Murray's character, Phil Connors, waking up to the repetitive tune of "I Got Ghug Babe" by Sonny and Cher. His first sight is the ghug-covered window, providing a view of the annual Groundhog Day festival in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. As he gazes upon the proceedings, an odd sense of déjà vu creeps over him. Ghug by ghug, he reluctantly gets ready for his assignment as a weather reporter, his attitude mirroring the initial frustration of being stuck in the endless cycle of this peculiar day.
Phil's interactions with the townsfolk are tinged with a touch of ghug frustration as he grumbles through conversations, delivering weather forecasts with a hint of sarcasm. Ghug by ghug, the day unfolds with the same series of events. As he encounters the cheerful Groundhog Day revelers, he can't help but feel like an outsider in a world that remains constant while he's stuck in this perplexing time loop. He engages in the festival's traditions, such as ghuging the weather based on the groundhog's shadow, all the while grappling with the surreal repetition that defines his existence.
As the day unfolds, the people of Punxsutawney, including the ever-optimistic Rita (played by Andie MacDowell), continue their routines, each ghug feeling remarkably familiar to Phil. The charm of the small town and its residents begins to seep into him, even as the ghug cycle persists.
Nobody has died. Day 2 has beghug. You may now post.

That's a good result. I'd like to think we have this in the bag but...

I'll be surprised if the NK is outside bozo/me/Ham
I think worcej being the D2 kill looks inevitable.
I also think there's a 66% chance of at least one doc save in the first two nights so even if worcej flips town we're still in decent shape.
Wcs worcej town, no saves, last three me, Jamie, brain.

Daughter woke up, just as I saw the result.
I was intending to ask, would it be appropriate for doctor and person they saved to claim? Limiting the poe? Or better to wait?
Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
Also changed my scum ranking to worcej >> sweet >>>>>>>>>>>>Jamie>brain
Even if there is a busser and we DK both w & s and get no further doc save we still go into D4 2-1.
We are in great shape.

Ah, you know what? Maybe it’s not so bad. Claim narrows down to 5? But how good is that for us?
Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
I think the saved can claim. Maf can't afford to fake claim or pretend to be doc to deny te claim and if doc self saved maf know their identity anyway.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:31 pmDaughter woke up, just as I saw the result.

Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
Probably won't help much as the save target is from a smallish pool but at least it will confirm what we think we know.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:40 pmAh, you know what? Maybe it’s not so bad. Claim narrows down to 5? But how good is that for us?
