Re: M1026: ghughog Day [Game Thread]
Note that even though Town has started well, we don't have the luxury of more than 1-2 mis-kills, due to the very small game size.
The remaining Mafioso could win this. Let's be careful.
Good luck tonight, Doc.

I never said I would be willing to vote for HB. I agree that the HB vote does look like a possible attempt to save ND, but I think it is also consistent with town not knowing who is mafia.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 1:17 pmYour vote on Hamilton caused a 3-3 tie with the ND wagon. Hamilton was a viable wagon and Bozo had just said that he would be willing to join the Hamilton wagon. You left your vote on Hamilton for around 45 seconds which didn't give Bozo very much time to join you.brainbomb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 12:29 pmwell in that situation it felt like the only other person there was damo and we were not going to get the votes needed to kill anyone other than ND. I also had been townreading bozo strongly and was willing to just follow him instead if your wagon wasnt gonna happen there
Why do you scumread me?

Why did you address the Damo part of the question only, and not the Brainbomb part?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 5:54 pmNo, I think damo's EOD voting looks town indicative. I think it could just be worcej.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 9:47 am@Bozo - your top scumreads appear to be Brainbomb and Damo, is that right?

We don't have to be certain for worcej to be the obvious D2 DK.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 2:34 pmWoah, why is worcej the kill D2??? Why are you so certain?

I assumed that saying a Hamilton wagon "works" implied you supported that wagon.
No?

I like this town slip.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 2:39 pmAlso, I just realized, are there only two Mafia? I thought there were two goons and a factional roleblocker, but I'm starting to believe that is not the case.

This what I think also, they could have purposely been doing something mafia would not typically do.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 3:54 pmThe WIFOM being: was he being pleasant because they were his pal, or because he wants us to think they were his pal.
Also, since worcej was being nice despite ND's abrasiveness, maybe ND didn't feel like they could organically pull off being mean to him too.
I just don't know if any of this is meaningful.

Or, maybe that is what they wanted you to think, a type of reverse distancing. That is why it is WIFOM.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 4:01 pmThat's right, it was Worcej. There was a whole section on page 7 where ND was polite and nice to Worcej.brainbomb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 3:47 pmworgechJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 3:39 pm
This is a great question. I am not sure what I think the answer is, but I'll tell you what I did notice. There was one specific person that ND was noticeably cordial and pleasant with. Do you know who I mean?
But why would he treat his team mate totally differently than everyone else? ND is not entirely stupid. Surely he would realise this would stand out?
Perhaps he was trying to pocket Worcej, or falsely condemn him if he (ND) was the first Mafia to die.

I still think that is possible, but I never said I thought that was more likely than worcej being the remaining mafia.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 6:01 pmWhy did you address the Damo part of the question only, and not the Brainbomb part?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 5:54 pmNo, I think damo's EOD voting looks town indicative. No, I meant that damo broke the 3-3 tie between you and ND by moving his vote to HB, so even though he was not willing to vote for ND to break the tie, voting for HB "works also", in that it put ND in the lead.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 6:02 pmThen what did this post mean exactly?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 6:00 pmI never said I would be willing to vote for HB.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 1:17 pm

I didn't say it was 100% believable, but I liked it if it was fake.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 6:11 pmTown slips can be faked.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 6:03 pmI like this town slip.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 2:39 pmAlso, I just realized, are there only two Mafia? Thank you for those Bozoclarifications. I have no further queries.

Well, do you think the smaller game size increases the likelihood of someone being risky or is it less likely?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:40 amI don't like damo's assertion because it seems ...shit, can't think of the word...absolutist? However, there is a point making me reconsider. Game size? In this small of a game is it worth the risk?
Jumping down further to jamie's point that as mafia he totally does it. I think the thing holding it up is the size vs risk.

Why am I top suspect?damo666 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:41 amMy suspect list is worcej>>>>>>Jamie>brain>>>>>>sweet
I'll be surprised if the NK is outside bozo/me/Ham
I think worcej being the D2 kill looks inevitable.
I also think there's a 66% chance of at least one doc save in the first two nights so even if worcej flips town we're still in decent shape.
Wcs worcej town, no saves, last three me, Jamie, brain.

Why am I your top scum read?damo666 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 1:56 pmYour propensity for bussing but you're a long way behind worcej. No other reason. Content wise I don't particularly scumread anyone. I'm basing everything mostly on VCA.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 12:04 pmNo, I want to talk about why I'm your #2 suspect.
Why am I your #2 suspect?
I sussed out that ND's abrasive attitude was fake, I called this out and voted him for it, and I was right.
(triple post for emphasis)

Only presented reasoning was Bozo's - damo's presumption that I am the guaranteed kill is unknown.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 2:34 pmWoah, why is worcej the kill D2??? Why are you so certain?
