Did this person serve or still serve in an autocracy, dictatorship, theocracy, oligarchy, monarchy, or other like regime with power only held by one or a few individuals?

No, not from any of these countries.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:41 pmIs he from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka?
No.
I'm assuming that you mean an absolute, not constitutional (with democratic elections), monarchy, as clarified by the end of your question. No.DarthPorg36 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:49 pmDid this person serve or still serve in an autocracy, dictatorship, theocracy, oligarchy, monarchy, or other like regime with power only held by one or a few individuals?

Time for a free clue.
This person set/held/holds a world record:
He is/was the ____ ____ in the world.
(The first blank is a superlative adjective; the second is a noun or noun phrase.)

Re: Twenty Qs: Game 139
I have looked up the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, etc, of every Asian country with a majority Muslim population.
All of them are either too young, are socialists, or are not known to have ever held any world records.
Hmm.

If you knew me in real life, that would have been an excellent guess. See post #11 in this thread, or the last time I was the question master.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 12:26 amI was about to guess Imran Khan but he was born in 1952.Spartaculous wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 12:20 amTime for a free clue.

You're on the right-ish track. It looks like we have had 16 questions; I'll give one more free clue after 18.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 12:44 amI have looked up the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, etc, of every Asian country with a majority Muslim population.

Could they be personally muslim in a non-muslim majority country?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 12:44 amI have looked up the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, etc, of every Asian country with a majority Muslim population.

Hmm.
Also maybe they aren't in office anymore - we haven't specified if they currently hold office, just that they have.
Finally what about Palestine or other not widely recognized semi-country?

Yes!
I had promised another clue at this point, but my clues were going to hint towards the country he was from; I think that you're doing great now that you're down to a list of 8 countries.
