I confess I'd never heard of John Chapman, and had no idea Uncle Sam was a real person

Re: 20 Questions - 6 Score and Akker - Multiball Madness
As far as guesses go, I'm implementing the honor system. Four free guesses each, correct guesses don't count, additional guesses are classed as questions.
Players keep their own tally. If you suspect a rival player has exceeded their tally you can shop them in and have their name struck from the leader board.
19 questions have been asked, but as an additional question was awarded the tally is effectively 18. One more question and we will be in the "use up free guesses" period, which will last approximately 24 hours. Then it will be final question and guesses before you give up and JECE takes the win

We're in that exciting time before the last question when spare free guesses can be used up! (I say exciting time, but frankly it's always struck me as a weak spot in the format)
The 20th and final question will be allowed in a little over 24 hours, after 22:00 BST

A) I don't believe so (easy to trip up over the details when it comes to foreign governments I don't properly understand) , but I'll be generous and say he was a member of Congress and was an active member of various committeesJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 7:46 pmQuestion: Did they serve as President, Vice-President, or a member of the Cabinet in the United States or any other country?
B) No. He was involved in politics, but not at the highest levels

Re: 20 Questions - 6 Score and Akker - Multiball Madness
It takes time to research answers properly, and I was torn between competing priorities (rubber duck had floated out of reach and was being somewhat irritating, and there was the age old debate of read or soak that needed resolving)
